Before you comment, I know this is likely to be old hardware, and outdated in some respects, but for the features and a dedicated device, I think it's right on the money
The copyright for Naviextras is NNG, the same company that made iGo Primo, so that part seems legit. It seems that NNG also makes navigation sofware for Clarion and Pioneer head units for cars
I have one of those for the motorhome, the AV in on mine is used for the wireless backup camera. The downside to it is that it interferes with the radio.
@@backofficeshow if it's powered up it interferes with the radio, I not need to select reverse. I've even changed the radio and aerial but it still does it. The radio just keeps losing the signal, but if I disconnect the receiver from the power the radio works as it should.
Last time one of these directed me to a fish finger sammich it cost over £3000. 5 years later a tomtom fingy was in morrisons fer £50 nicker-droppas. However the real challenge is finding a fish finger sammich finder thats FULLY WATERPROOF fer a motorbickle. I tend to get told to get lost a lot - and I do ;-)
@@backofficeshow Well dang, not tried mine in 10 years or so, prolly needs a new battery but it may be worth bolting on fer summer. Just gotta be too careful about these restrictions in certain areas. Cheers Doc
Not much use for anyone deciding whether to buy one or not. No idea how up to date the maps or, how accurate the gps is, or how quickly it updates when in active use. It could still just be e-waste.

Stop being logical! 😁 Looks like a winner. Haters gonna hate. How good are the maps? Please let us know....

So when you hit reverse does the wireless camera come on and buzz the radio?

I still have the motorbike Tomtom from around 15 years ago. If I recall I tried it a couple of years ago and it had a map update 😂
