You and Frank are hilarious! Very entertaining I will say. It feels like a new direction in your filming. Not only funny but also very educational. Thanks again and stay safe!
I really enjoyed this episode it was so good to see Frank again he was well missed you was right about that little nutra give them the hole rat 😂😢😭 and Frank was right about seeing that snake from far off 🤣😂loved the video can't wait to see More like it don't forget Frank 🔥🔥💯👍🏽
I used 110 Conibear traps to catch hundreds of muskrats in grass like that when I was a teenager. I just put the traps over the holes in grass. may need to upgrade to 220 Conibear for a Nutria.
Man, you brought back childhood memories. I was around those traps were new and I would go Nutra and meat hunting with my grandma and grandpa. I would drive the car on the shoulder of old Highway 90 going towards Morgan city my grandma and grandpa would walk and set the traps. that was a good old days. I might have been 8 years old. When we get home, wed skin what we caught then we turned the skin inside out on some old skinning boards and set them to dry. We give the meat away to anybody who wanted it. It was too much for one family. What a blast from the past.
It's good to see frank again safe and healty.healthy. Vinnie i have a question do people still use nutria fur? I mean is there still a market for it? If so why not sell the.fir as well as the tails?.
No there really isn't a market for it. That's pretty much why they have the bounty for them. If the market was good they wouldn't have to pay, trappers would be putting a hurting on them. There is somewhat of a market for them for felt but it ain't much.
I have to tell you Cuz. You and The Beardless Boy Wonder are pure entertainment. Always makes me smile when it just doesn’t work out. Love seeing my home folks having fun. Keep up the great work Cuz!! Tell Frank that little Nutria looks more like a mouse.😅😅
Great video Cuz. Doing a good job with music and composition and story telling. Y'all catching anything else in the traps? Is there a scent that you can put to lure them to your traps?
I haven't caught anything else yet. I met another trapper out there that said he gets otter every now and then. I don't think there is a bait or lure for nutria.
Hey Vinnie , Frank👋. Your doing good things Cuz ❤. It might be your calling to make a prototype for the SS. Then find an invester to by stock? Vinnies Swamp Shoes🤔. Merry Christmas Cuz and wife's 🎅🎄🙏. JO JO IN VT 💞☃️
That idea of two boats is good. A shooter boat and a chase boat. First one fires, second pickup. Just change once in awhile. First boat carry marking flags as you get them. Then chase boat can find the hits. The shoes are great, but you need a type that snap on and off.
Here in New Jersey we have an overpopulation of massive muskrats that the state used to pay us to hunt now it’s just free after one time license purchase of $25
I love these nutria videos! I'd love to see you make nutria tamales...but with a Louisana twist. Gamo needs to sponsor you with their air rifles so you're not having to spend so much in bullets.
This question is for whomever has experience with these boats…… What are the pros and cons of a Pro Drive vs a Go Devil vs a Gator Tail? My brother and I will be investing in one of these in the next bit and we want to spend our money correctly, the first time. We appreciate reliability, simplicity, and something built FAR stronger than it needs to be. Thank you kindly for your input.
Honestly none of them are bad in my opinion. Pro-drive isn't as fast as the others but is a work horse. For me there is no substitute for their full power reverse and now they added the instant reverse so having both is a game changer. I don't care for the tiller handle on the Go Devil, I find it too long and it's harder to turn all the way to one side or the other. Hope this helps.
@@samuelnelson7429self bailing you have to wear rubber boots. I borrowed one for alligator season and if you walk to the back when it stoped water will come in.
@@PelicanBoneOutdoors I made one out of stove pipe when I was younger. Made one out of abs pipe recently with a gate on each end and blocked off in the middle. Caught multiple racoon.
Good to see Frank again. Always a fun time when you two are together.
Frank and I had a blast out there.

Yeah I need to get me some. That’s probably what I’m going to get with the money I make from the tails. Haven’t decided on the 220 or 330
@@PelicanBoneOutdoors 330 is for beaver. But I guess some of those Nutria are almost as large.

@PelicanBoneOutdoors t.y Vinnie for the info on the fur.
Nutria fur is coming back for the felt market. They mix it with beaver felt. Its bought by the pound.

Gonna have to design your own snowshoes brand and call em Marsh Stompers.
Yessss! 😂👍👍
we like any video you put out. Victor traps are still in business.🙃
I appreciate it.

OHHHH, yall watch out for the Full Moon...💯💯🤣🤣
Hey Vinn you gonna eat those rats? 😂🤠 I’ve used sweet potato for bait here in Texas.
Them Rats are delicious.
Good content ty
Thank you.
They still make double long spring traps
Ayyeee cuzzzooo and Frankie boyyy
Great tape. Why not put your flags on a higher stick so you could see them above the grass
That might be what we end up doing. Still working out the kinks.
Yup. You gotta watch out for those moccasins. Thel get you

@ Thanks! I am leaning towards the Pro Drive. They have a self bailing deck option that’s pretty slick, too. I appreciate your response.

Dims swamp shoes not snow shoes
Right! I need to rebrand them.
You guys need to learn the difference between muskrat and nutria, 2 out the five small ones were muskrat.
Would a colony trap work?
I've been told they do. I don't have any experience with them.
