this is by far my favorite scene from all seasons. I just love how close they are to each other w/ the arms around the waist & not to be cheesy but you can just feel their love or whatever lol they look very couply in this scene & their eyes...seriously they can just talk w/ their eyes. Okay I'm done praising haha

And then yhe wtiters made meredith say she dosent need him what a load misplassed social justice crap he changed everything about her life and pushed her to heal
She didn't say she doesn't need him. She found out that she could live with out him and still be amazing. She had to find out for herself she was so used to having Cristina and Derek she had to find herself. But she didn't want to live without him cause she wanted him.
Yeah, that line always bugged me too. He'd said a couple times in the show that he couldn't leave her, couldn't imagine being without her and then she says the line. I think she enjoyed pushing him away to see his reaction. Horrible writing for sure.
I heard that The Rescues song here first, and then on Pretty Little Liars. As much as I love this show, I have to say that the song suited the PLL scene better.
