Steam Train C571 "YAMAGUCHI"

Class C57 is 4-6-2 steam locomotive designed by Japan National Railway(JNR) in 1937 for regular passenger services. Total 201 locomotives were built until 1947. The first built one, C571 is preserved in Shimonoseki Depot of West Japan Railway Company in working condition, which is operated for the steam train "YAMAGUCHI" in weekends in summer season.

One correction: C571 is NOT preserved in Shimonoseki but at the Umenokoji site in Osaka (that's how she got damaged in the Kobe earthquake of 1995).
