I thought all the main roles were really well cast. As a bonus, the kids in the main roles were all among her best friends. She has known Gretchen since Kindergarten.
Ok I’m sorry. MIDDLE SCHOOL!?!!?! And she can sing, do runs, and belt and she’s like a young teenager like excuse me sorry. You deserve to be in broadway.
Thanks for you kind words. Maybe some day. For now, she is looking forward to attending Interlochen this summer (a new experience for her) and starting high school in the fall.
Thanks for your kind words. Maybe someday. Teenaged characters in professional theater are played by people at least 18, if not older. However, she is looking forward to a camp at Interlochen this summer.
Your kind words are recognition enough for right now. Her sister won a JRAY award yesterday for a high school production (similar to a Jimmy but only for the Los Angeles metropolitan area), so her time may come in the future.
This girl is amazing, I’ve always wanted to do mean girls but the jr. version we would have to do at the theater I am at would not be as fun. Some people might not know this but the little theater on the square in Illinois is phenomenal and they put on great shows
She has been fortunate to perform with four different organizations, and there was not a production of any of them that I did not enjoy. I am sure anyone who attends a performance at Little Theater on the Square will be blessed by the experience.
I love these videos so much! I watch all the mean girls musical videos you guys have a lot and Everyone sounds so amazing. Especially Cady and Regina and Gretchen. Love them all but those 3 are my favorites. I am a theater kid too but my city doesn't have much. So amazing and they have a lot of talent to preform something like this. Amazing!!!!!
Thank you for your kind words. Videos of my theater kid grand daughters are my favorite form of entertainment, and I'm glad you enjoyed them too. Some shows work better than others, and this one worked really well. These kids are fortunate to have had a lot of support, so they are surprisingly accomplished for their age.
Sitting on the back row of the theater taking the photos / video, I certainly didn't realize it was a copier until later. Details are easy to miss when distracted by the vocals.
Yes. It certainly wasn't easy. Talent, 5+ years of voice lessons (her voice teacher has a degree from Berklee school of music and years of experience performing) and months of practicing this song in particular. Talented 13-year-olds can do amazing stuff. The 13 year old singing "My House" on my Matilda video sends chills up my spine. Unlike professionals in musical theater, who have to sing songs 8 or more times a week for weeks on end, she only had to survive 4 performances. so she had less constraints on belting causing her to lose her voice.
She was in a production of High School Musical as a 2nd grader, which was pretty weird as well. This is a musical theater organization, not a middle school, so these are all hard core theater kids. As the introduction to the musical makes clear, this is a cautionary tale about how not to act. The leads are all among her best friends. What better way to prepare a group of best friends for high school than for them to get their comeuppance for being scoundrels?
It took talent, years of voice lessons with an excellent teacher, and a lot of effort practicing this song over several months to make the performance look easy.
She actually killed that. Gretchen is so accurate too🤣

this girl is in middle school? this is fricking amazing!!

Interlochen! Jesus she should be proud. No surprise there though if you watch her performance!
I could never this girl needs to be on broadway

her vocals gave me actual goosebumps! she's amazing and deserves so much more recognition

She did amazing!!!! That fact that her voice is that strong at such a young age. I love it
this girl is phenomenal
Biblically accurate Regina George
Like scripture, it is a cautionary tale full of flawed people.
You cannot tell me that isnt taylor louderman in a teenage girl suit
I love this show! I just did it and I was Regina and I heard this while practicing! She sounds amazing

Did she really sing this? Cause it seems really hard

She did great but it's a bit weird to watch middle schoolers do this song.

@@donaldmartin2141 Great.
Devored
im the same age as this girl.i strive to have her vocals but im not a soprano 😭😭
These are unusual vocals. Consider it a success if you can continue to Improve your own vocals.
She makes it look so easy and she’s only 13
