i don't know if i can trust you dude. looks to me like you suffered a severe electric shock prior to recording this vid!! Only joking. Very helpful advise, thanks
@profixerr can you provide a link to purchase the replacement micro USB please, to ensure I/we purchase the correct one. I see JNTC J7116 on the original but it isn't a part number I can find.
Where can I get that charging port? Can I get a link. I got the board out, no sense in taking charging port off if I can't get another.. thanks. Then I will try my skill at soldering.. 😂
the technique to remove the motherboard isto put a pick underneath the part of the board with the sd card attached then using another pick pry up fron the side behind the sd card to remove the board from the clips holding it . there are also clips on the side by the battery connecter that will probably require prying too.
Hi would I be able to solder a c-type charing port to the tab A. Has it ever been successfully done? Or is there something that would prevent it from working properly?
@@profixerr6275 it was working fine then i went to turn it on and it went black so i plugged it in and the charging signal came on then it started to flicker
@@sharonwhittington2859 I noticed mine does the same thing if plugged into a power source that doesn't provide enough power to the tablet to charge it.
Can you add wireless charging pad into Tab A 10.1 T515 ? This model does not support wireless charging. i know there is adapter out there require plug into USB-C. But i am looking into more thin wireless adapter that can solder to the board. Reason behind all this hassle is, i will have to install tablet in my car, and this requires power and data. Believe i almost tried all solutions, for power+Data simultaneously. i used OTG with power, lava adapter , root the tablet to modify files...etc. my final solution would be to install utilize onboard USB port for data and wireless charger for power. i appreciate your help.

Late answer... but search for "L33 031 usb connector" you will find it.
@ProFixerr Where can we find/buy the Micro USB connector for replacement?
Can the charge port be converted to usb type c
Great job. 😊
Is it possible to replace/upgrade to a usbc port?

Liked-Subscribed-Notified. What is the part number for the USB-C replacement port? Where to purchase?
I need it too please
Did you touch a battery and get a high voltage shock?
Thanks great job well done
Thanks for watching!
Thanks you for this info
Great video!
I hope to see a video replacing power key of T585
If I don't want to solder a new connector, is that entire subassembly with the connector on it available?
When I plug my USB power meter in its reading 5.04V and only 0.66A ? Yours is reading 4.99V and 1.51A? Any idea why this is? also it wont turn on.
Great video, thanks for sharing this
Thank you🙂
What is this gel what you smeared in the beginning.
Flux

Great video, wish I would have seen this before I bought the part. Not sure if I can solder it myself, maybe my Honeywell soldering friend can help me
What temperature of HotAir are you using in this case ?
Hi what is the temperature for the for hot air gun and soldering machine
I guess you need the temperature of the core of the sun cause no matter what i try, the stupid connector doesnt move
What is the tools you used ?
Temperature of solder iron, and hot air?
Please advise
What kind of solder is that? Looks clear? Is it conductive or not? Thanx!
I think you're confusing his solder with flex he was using.

What kind of heat gun are you using?
👏🏻
solder has an L in it.
Yes, my lord
This guy make like the motherboard will just pop out. It is generally quite well held in. I'd find another video and another company to deal with.
My tablwt flickers when plugged in and won't turn on
If the tablet flickers, it might have a screen issue. What is the history/story behind your tablet not working?
@@profixerr6275 it was working fine then i went to turn it on and it went black so i plugged it in and the charging signal came on then it started to flicker
The battery cant charge all the way because the tablet isn't receiving enough power.
Same Problem :(

Sodder!! its pronounced SOLDER soul der
with other words: impossible to do this yourself unless you are a professional, do not to try his at home
Too fast too little explanation sorry…
How is it you can solder but are incapable of pronouncing the word solder correctly?
Guy Singleton that’s how it’s pronounced in the USA. Outside the USA it’s common to say sole-der I believe
@@profixerr6275 and definitely NOT soder in Scotland :-)
