Ah it takes a little getting used to. I find them expressive and light, it’s not everyone’s cup of tea. So I don’t hard sell it as I know some who likes heavier pen and some who likes many other good brands 😊🙏
What pen are you using? I use a Pilot and recently found that the ink isn't waterproof (I'm really new at this...) And really looking forward to the sketching of Bangalore! There are some amazing temples around there!
so the best way to sketch figures is to have years of experience to the point you can just render an image in the correct proportion . no layout , no construction lines. just draw. It works but it takes a long time
Ah, you misread the headline, it says the SIMPLEST way not the BEST way. In my image I rendered it slightly off proportion, I even laughed at my own error of longer legs (see video at 19:59) error. So the BEST way to sketch figures is to get a degree in fine arts or like you suggest layout, construction lines… but my years of urban sketching has taught me that most figures would have moved by the time you finish with the layout and construction lines hence not very practical for URBAN SKETCHING. Glad you tuned in, and appreciate your thoughts!
Great sketch and a lot of insight and inspiration. Thanks🎨🖌️
Thanks 🙏 Glad it’s useful 😊
Loved watching you use the fude pen. I have a couple but haven't used them for sketching.

Aww! Thank you… practice helps! 🙏😊
Honestly, when I turn on a video and hear MUSIC...I turn it off. This was good....no fast paced watching...but real time LEARNING. 😊 Thank you!
Glad you found it useful and enjoyed the no music approach! 😊 I had lots of feedback in the past about music. So I learned from my mistakes 😅🙏
Very good, I enjoyed watching this - i need to learn to draw smoother/ cleaner more confident lines like you
Thank you for tuning in 🙏🙏😊 yes confidently wrong is better than tentatively right! 😆

Got it! Will definitely do slower videos in future… I guess people can speed up with 1.5X speed if they want to 😊
