Confirmed that driver is KEIICHI TSUCHIYA. He's a street racer himself, and likewise drove the touge(s) since he was young. He knows this touge (on this video) very much as well, since this is their test track-touge used in almost all their Best Motoring and Hot Version car coverages. He also claims that when he was young, driving the AE86 during his "hashiriya" (street racer) days trained his driving skills... wether it be drift or grip.
It is not a standard STi. It is a S204. It has all the works stuff built in (except the rool cage). the seats specially designed for S204 by recaro and cost 10k for one.
Looking at the comment above. He did not do all the driving in tokyo drift. There are a few of the drivers in that movie who would argue that...lol Rhys Millen being one. And the best in the world? There is no such thing. There could be someone out there none of us have ever heard about and lets not forget F1 and the WRC guys might have something to say about that too. Not trying to start a utube war but be realistic. But he is dam good
