it works you just gotta keep trying, i literally did it just now. one time it took me 5 minutes and then it finally showed up for me to buy the avatars. then the other time it took me 20 whole minutes😭 just be patient and don’t give up and just follow the steps the dude explained in the video it’ll eventually work.. also use google chrome if you wasn’t using that browser

Maybe stay away from ur trusted friend in the future.

I think it depends on the region of your PSN account. You can try to get avatars out of region to see if it works, but I think it will not work.
