I called a Dell technical support and I asked replace for a new ( in Brazil, have a customer law, that permit the change in 7 days for on line buys). But, is excelent PC, very fast and with a good configuration ( Core i5 10400, 8GB RAM, 256 SSD and Windows 11). Thanks for your video!

Do you plan to review any larger Dell desktop towers like an Inspiron 3891? I was in a virtual chat with Dell sales earlier today attempting to get recommendations on a new tower to replace my old Dell tower with Windows XP. Things like what size of an Intel processor to select, an i3 or an i5, how much memory I should consider, 4GB or 8GB, HD type, an HDD or an SSD, HD size, etc. I was dealing with a Dell sales rep in the Dell Home Division which is why I was talking to him about Dell Inspiron desktop towers. Would the small tower like the Vostro model you reviewed in today's video be enough for a senior if all I would be using it for was word processing, light web surfing and email, some Quicken reports and that's pretty much it? I'm not a gamer nor am I into digital photography or creating videos. Should I consider purchasing a new desktop tower with an i5 Intel processor or drop down to an i3 Intel processor to save money for what I plan to do on the new Dell desktop tower? I also want a built-in CD-DVD drive on any new tower I purchase. I look forward to your next desktop tower unboxing and review.
Thanks for your comments Steve. Personally I would always go for a Intel Core i5 or AMD Ryzen 5 processor that has a high boost clock rate of 4Ghz or above with 8GB of RAM and at least a 256GB NVMe SSD boot drive. This would then last you for years to come and should perform really well. If you need additional storage in the future you can always add in a 2.5" SSD drive into the spare drive cage which would allow you to use that for additional personal data. The Vostro I reviewed in this video would be ideal for your use case and would more than handle the applications you mention and it's a small form factor unit which would allow it to either sit on the floor or under a monitor on your desk.
Count them? It's got 3 but the power cabling only supports 2 so you'd need a power splitter to put in a third. I'd stick to using Sata 3 SSD's if I were you , that will keep the power draw low so you might still get it running with a graphics card as well. If you want cheap and fast SSD's I highly recommend Fanxinag SSD's.
@@gilbertocalonso the xps is abit too expensive. Sometimes going for corporate class models are a better option. The optiplex has same specs as the non-gpu xps but alot cheaper and have similar features to match
@@gilbertocalonso I was also looking at laptops and ended up with a thinkpad since it is better and cheaper than consumer grade laptops. It's powered by amd btw
@@Kenzo9063 The Optiplex is a better in construction, but are equal motherbords and suply power. I have a Optiplex 3050 and they are a equal dimensions of the Vostro. The Vostro, accept only video card low profile of 2 GB VRAM, because a low suply power (200W). But, this Vostro 3681 is a excelent personal computer. This very fast and silent. Yes, the XPS line is very expansive, because is line top.

Because the 16 pin is at the bottom you can't get a two slot GPU.

Maybe. But, accept only low profile video card, that have a low VRAM, because for small form. In this case, do you need a XPS line.
