Testing Cowl Scoop. Does It Work?

Testing the cowl scoop on my car. It is sealed to the air cleaner to allow air cold to enter. But it is quite far from the windshield where the high pressure area is. Will it create a vacuum or a high pressure area behind the scoop? Please note, the speeds mentioned in the video are not quite accurate. I was not speeding. This was filmed in Mexico.
