@@mariusejAh, thanks for the info! Sometimes with these modern popsongs it ain't always common knowledge if they are reusing older tunes. And no the "Ayla" in parenthesis didn't tell me anything. That said, I just gave the original a listen, and I completely disagree with @notjustawhitelabel. The original track is a banger for sure, but with Car Keys I think it improved the track to add some lyrics and bass. I generally don't mind when modern artists reuse older tunes and remix them, like Sound of Legend - Blue, Nea - Some Say, and David Guetta - I'm Good, who all reuse huge chunks of Eiffel 65's I'm Blue.
@@PikaLink91 Yes..- 2023 was for sure a year of reuse..- ATB - Your Love (9 PM), CJ Stone - Come Down (Infinity), Pulsedriver - Love Is On Fire ..- all use melodies of old tunes. I sense more of this will come in 2024. Well... No 'Car Keys (Ayla)' without an inspiring original is how I feel. It's great that you like the new track and really great if it leads a younger audience to discover the originals also :).
