I like your idea to make your suitcases very sturdy. You two not only make beautiful items, you do honest work & I would not be afraid to buy anything from you.
I made an old suitcase into an wardrobe for my granddaughter,s American Girl Doll. It turned out so cute!
Great idea
Yvonne….THIS ARE FABULOUS…. Truly fabulous ! I love the paint colors…the Rub-N-Buff was perfect for the hardware….then those legs ! I say you picked the perfect style leg for them. Wood I don’t think would have looked right….JUST PERFECT all the way around !
Then the accents on them…..lady you are GOOD ! I think I’m watching this again…so enjoyed it all! I am SO EXCITED ABOUT THESE ! I can’t wait for you to tell us how people respond to them in your Booth !
Feel better…🙏.
EXCELLENT EXCELLENT SAVE ON THESE !!!! You too Chris 👍
🌞🌞🌞🙏🙏🙏🌞🌞🌞
Came here for the makeovers and got a satisfying cleaning video too. ❤️❤️❤️
You have the patience of a saint!!! They look AMAZING!!!
"Use my carpet cleaner". Cracked me up every time I think of you saying that laugh. That's why I love your channel.😂
🤗😁
I have never seen the suitcases made into tables, these are so great😍🥰😻
I have three vintage suitcases. You crushed it. Now I'm feeling guilty like I need to redo mine as well. You and Chris always put so much care into the work that you do. I know that you are a godly woman and it reflects in the work you do. Do everything as though you do it unto the Lord. Thank you
I agree. I always put wood in the bottom of them also. Just adds to the sturdiness.😊
I have tons of vintage suitcases! My husband kind of rolls his eyes at me when I get any, but he’s bought me home a full set 2 x’s!! 😉🥰
Beautiful work, Yvonne and Chris. Your attention to detail and high standards are what success is built on!
What is best about their work is the high standard of craftsmanship.
WOW!!!! You two did an amazing job transferring junk to jewel. I like the legs you chose to use.
Hmmm… Have you decided to ask what else you could find next and see if it shows up?? 🤣 that’s awesome! Love how they came out.
💝
Omg how yall have beautified those suitcases to showroom pieces💖💖💖
FANTASTIC Yvonne nChris !
❤️❤️❤️ them 👍
Now that was a transformation. You guys did a wonderful job. Chris is such a trooper.
What an astounding concept: making a side table from a suitcase! You are so creative! I hope they sell for you.
You are so lucky to find 2 suitcases. I have one and have been on the look for another for years. Great transformation..
How creative with the suitcases! Definitely something I haven't tried!
Wow! Wow!
You are truly an artist
These are just so Amazing!!!
These are awesome!!! I think you picked the perfect legs. They are simple and don't take away from the suitcases. Another beautiful job.
Wow! Wow! Wow! You and Chris did it again. Amazing!! The second one is my favorite.
Amazing work on these suitcases, they are completely transformed into beautiful as well as practical pieces.
These were definitely a labor of love. That was a lot of work.
Ugh - now I need to collect suitcases also?!?!? I’m so motivated- will hold the TV in the French/Vintage guest room for sure - fabulous job! TFI ✈️🧳
Lol 💕
Hi Yvonne. The suitcases came out great. Never ceases to amaze me of how meticiculous u and Chris r. luv them!
Some thrifted wallpaper would be awesome on the inside too. Awesome ideas
I loved both! I love everything you and Chris do! Thank you for sharing your talents with us and God bless you and yours...❤
Love, love, love old suitcases. What you did with these is just divine. I have simply stadied mine in different rooms and use them as storage. The only one I have ever painted was a blue one from the set I received as a graduation gift in 1973. I collect train cases and use them to hold different categories of craft supplies.
That train case is a splendid idea! TFS 😊
I love how these both turned out. You put so much work and detail into your pieces. They’re gorgeous. Thanks Yvonne
You definitely know how to give each piece “that finishing touch”
I remember the day when I actually used a suitcase like those to travel. Enjoyed your video, as always.
Love love love ❤️ ❤️ ❤️ the suitcases !!!!!
Such a lot of work Yvonne! They turned out beautifully.
Love the suitcases, you and hubby did a great job. If I lived in your area I would definitely buy one.
You were so in tune with the spiritual vibe because my husband is working with a bunch of old suitcases and he is having trouble coming up with some clever ideas!! You are just what he needed to move ahead with his projects!! I learn so much from you for my own crafting. Thank you for sharing your talent and spirit! God Bless!!
The suit cases turned out great. God job!
Great idea using your carpet cleaner! 👏🏻👏🏻👏🏻
OH MY!!!!!! I want these! Next time I'm down state I'm going to try and go to the Antique Capital! TFS! Judyxx
What adorable pieces, your work is impeccable. Thanks for the inspiration 😊
Love love the suitcases!!!! The travel labels totally gave it a finished look!!!
You blew it out of the water again, Yvonne. Great job.
Great job on that true “trash to treasure” transformation.
Awsome job you both did.Thank you again for sharing
Oh my I think these came out beautiful I collect them but I have just done the inside never have attempted the outside of them they were gorgeous!!!❤❤❤God Bless you and yours!!!
I love everything that you guys do! The extra steps that you take makes everything just perfect.
Those look great! Those were alot of work but the outcome was amazing!
Great job on the suitcases. Like the legs as well. Industrial but also light and airy. Thanks for a great video. Good job to Chris as well.
I grew up antique shopping with my parents when things were cheap. How things have changed. I have always repurposed or recycled old vintage and antique pieces. Now I’m just starting in a different direction taking it a little bit more serious so that I’m able to sell and please other people beside myself. I am telling you this because I have learned so much from you and your husband on how you do things how you approach things just you’re cleaning and setting up and just trying to make everything perfect. I really have learned and continue to learn your way of handling your business and I very much want to handle it the same way. Thank you so much for your continued interest in others and just giving out as much information as possible. And I love your Attention to detail. I hope one day I’n able to take a trip and come out to your shop and see things in person. Again thank you and I will continue to watch and share information that you have shared with me.
Thank you for sharing that with me 💝
I have never seen a vintage suitcase in a thrift store! You did a great job with them!
God has a sense of humor. You handled it well. I think they will sell quickly.
These were really nice! I think it’s the best transformation of a suitcase that I have seen.
Yvonne,
You can purchase 6ml 12x12 plastic sheets from Amazon and cut your own stencils. Eg: VINTAGE EDITION NO.7
Yep.. thank you. I just like creating different stuff 🤗
Wow, a lot of work but they turned out awesome ❤️❤️❤️
They both look great, you did a wonderful job! I love vintage suitcases myself, I have one that I use to display some items in my booth for a craft show I do in October. Yours turned out great! ❤️
You did such a good job on the suitcases. That is one thing I’ve been wanting to do also because it looks like it be so much fun. I’m glad I had a chance to see how you did yours so now I have a better idea how to tackle one. And I was also wondering if it would be cost-effective to re-do the inside with material. So I think I’m gonna do it your way and just remove it and clean it up. Also good idea to put that piece of wood in there to make it more sturdy. Great job as usual.
These have got to be some of the most drastic transformations y’all have done! And oh my goodness what a fabulous job y’all did! The are not recognizable!! Both suitcases are absolutely beautiful and gorgeous as end tables. The work that went into them really shows an awesome job well done!!!
Thank you
WOW! WOW! These two are gorgeous. I could not pick only one. The colors are amazing. Thankful you were able to find these.
You have amazing talent and a great eye for style and color. The finishes inside are perfect.
Great idea for new hinges and one to hold it up.
Thank you.
I have several suitcases but they belonged to my husband and his father. I can't imagine selling them. But I do think it would be cute to make them into side tables. Thanks for the inspiration.
Love the suitcase end tables
I absolutely love how these turned out. I have severa piecesl of vintage luggage and now I'm inspired to do something with them. Thanks 😊
I love them, the stickers are cancel stamps for envelopes however. It would be better with the name of the destination city stickers they used to slap on trunks and suitcases.
You did an awesome job on the suitcases! Thank the Lord that he heard your request for two! I have two and you have inspired me to try and makeover mine! Thx ☺️
Beautiful.....I have the suitcase set my folks used from the 40's or 50's with the matching cosmetic case. Will never let them go!
I absolutely love what you did with them! Definitely think the metal legs were the way to go.
I have a suitcase from when I was little I want to redo. This is a perfect idea for it
You and Chris did a great job! Hello from TEXAS
A great job on both cases !! 👏👍👌
Wow! Beautiful! I really love how these turned out! You guys did an amazing job on those suitcases!! Thank you so much for sharing!!
They came out nice.
I was hopping you would do your black and white and and some flowers or something spring looking.
I so miss going to Menards 💞 we don't have them in the east 😢
Adorable! Vintage luggage stands look cute too. You screw the suitcase to rack to make it stable.
Nice save! Love they add storage too💜
I had just purchased a suitcase from a thrift shop when traveling in Florida for 2.00. They had 6 suitcases but I only bought one as I wasn't sure what to do with it. Now I do. Thanks for posting.
Great job.....found one on the curb going to redo and put in garage sale. Thanks for your time and videos. God bless
Wow! I am tired just watching you. I have wanted to tackle one bit right now I am in no hurry as that is a lot of work. They are absolutely beautiful! Great job ❤️❤️
Loved them. I have an old one from my grandparents house. Still original sitting in my spare room! Love from NB Canada!l
😲 WOW..those are so gorgeous...You are amazing..you have been blessed with a very special gift..you are very talented.☺️☺️
I have very old trunks and suit cases from my grandparents..I just turned 50..I so want to do this..if you have any ideas for very old trunks.. would love to see what you come up with 🤗
I love this! The suitcases look so nice.
Yvonne, these are gorgeous! I thought so even without the embellishments. And the hairpin legs are perfect for them. I have a train case that I want to makeover to store some fabric in, so this video was a tremendous help for that. Thanks for sharing.
Beautiful. Love them both!!
You and Chris are the perfect team. Great job on these two pieces.
They are just great. It gives me the courage to try one myself. Thank you for all of your help.
I love vintage suitcases! I’ve collected a few in my day and had to downsize when we moved but I still have 4 of my most loved. I love how you reinvented the ones you found! Thank you for taking us along on your journey💚
I was hoping you would add antique wax to the No. 7 suitcase. The decoupage would blend in beautifully with the paint and give it an aged look.
Amazing Yvonne💫🍀💫 loved the colors and travel “stickers”. Hope that you are feeling better. Gotta work tomarrow so wishing you and Chris a Happy St Patrick’s Day🍀💫💚💫🍀
Those came out great! You could also use the IOD exploration transfers on them. Cost you more than the tissue paper decoupage but less time consuming.
Beautiful job on those suit cases!!
Love these. Wish I could shop your booth!!!
Excellent job...My favorite was the one with the legs !
you did such a great job,i loooooooove them
I absolutely love them!!
These look amazing
You tricked me.
I thought you would have done the decoupage paper that you did with the twin dressers.
Love the suitcase.
Love the suitcases!
These turned out so cool now I wanna find some for myself!!!! Love the suitcases!!!!
These turned out amazing 🥰
You made a treasure from trash! I have some as well someday they might become a desk and shelf
Might have to do a suitcase next !!😊
They are beautiful
Stunning!!!
