Absolutely amazing love all your reviews I find my myself looking all all the stuff you review and I always smile when you rant about phosphor bronze washers
Great review, everything you said is bang on. I’ve got a Fara in Santos wood and have 0 complains other than the centring wasn’t perfect when I got it, nothing a quick tighten of the pivot couldn’t fix. Beautiful knife, love it to death as it’s the only knife I currently have that I can take to me that isn’t for work only. I love watching your videos, very informative and succinct and I can’t wait for the next one,
I love the fact you review these knives with such honesty, is it possible you could do a budget series for UK edc, say under the £50 price range? Alot of people including myself start off with that price range and it would be good to see your opinion on knives within this price range.
I like the Celina’s slip better, but this knife looks lovely. I probably prefer the Santos wood on my Celina, but that would have looked great on this pattern. By the way it’s Celina as in Cello, rather than Selina... I found this out after I made my video.
Awesome reviews buddy, I have the MKM Edge Titanium as well as a similar knife in my books; the Real Steel Stella Premium Titanium, and I was debating on either grabbing this or the MKM EDGE but in ALUMINIUM, or the REAL STEEL STELLA FAT CARBON JUNGLE SATIN, and this review has just swayed me, I'm in the midst of making an order now :) thank you, top reviews.. O by the way, I love your lanyard, I'm guessing you made it, but what's the bead at the end of it, it look the dogs danglies, and brings the knife to life :)
@@samiadb8503 just checked Heinnie Haynes and they're advertising that it's UK friendly still so I'm likely mistaken, the Fara has far better steel though
It’s a nice knife I’m happy with it it’s a bit heavier than I was expecting do you notice any difference with the action on your Teflon / bronze Hinderers ??
All of my hinderers are bronze washers so I don't have a reference, I hear the action isn't noticeably affected but it's the durability aspect for me, that said, honestly I doubt I'd ever wear them out really but still...
I've not handled the Aluminium fara though my guess is that it should have an identical action, I have the quite similar Cellina in Aluminium and the action on that is lovely

I know it's really minor and yet it still annoys me!

I do love the fara. Just a bit out of my usual price range but definitely one of those knives I'd make the leap for.
Great review as always. The Fara is one of my favourites, not sure a pocket clip would do it any favours though
Just a beautifull design ! Great review , thanks for sharing ! Cheers .

Cheers! I actually have several budget options en route to me right now! Will be doing reviews of those early this year 👍
@@UKLegalCarryKnives brilliant, looking forward to them 👌
After contacting Heinne Hays you can still get one with the Bronze washer.

Ah, I'll adjust to chellina then! Cheers!

Mine came with brass washers. The newer versions do the leather pouch its a better fit too
Yeah I have the Knives and Tools Brass version and I could not see teflon washers, I only see bronze/brass as well
How would you compare these knives to the Hoo knives v3?
Which would you pick This or the viper Dan?
I really like the Dan but I heard the length of the blade was increased a little so it's no longer uk legal, the Fara is a fantastic choice anyway.
@@UKLegalCarryKnives well that's very disappointing!
I'm torn between the two but if that's the case you've swung the vote!

Would a thumb stud work on this
I found the action was too stiff to reasonably use one, at least for me.
@@UKLegalCarryKnives thanks for letting me know. I’ve messaged you on instagram
I wish it was cheaper.

Have you handled the aluminum version? If so, how does it compare to this one particularly in the opening closing action?
I've not handled the Aluminium fara though my guess is that it should have an identical action, I have the quite similar Cellina in Aluminium and the action on that is lovely
Yeah it’s off center m8
