For those who dont know. Lizzie thought that walkers(the zombies) were people coming back to life. Went completely off her rocker and started to feed zombies. Later on to prove her point she killed her little sister by stabbing her to death. Was super sad because her little sister was so sweet and adorable. This scene was super emotional. Reminded me of "Of mice and men".
You can compare any scene with a gun pointed to the back of somebodys head without the person knowing to Of Mice and Men. Sometimes it's best to end somebody's life before their life spirals out of control.

Kid was warped by all the trauma and death. She became obsessed with the walkers, identified with the dead rather than the living.
That is one of the most painful things that's why she became like Daryl from The walking Dead living in the woods by herself she just could not deal with it no more.
