Awesome vid, man. I have one sort of related question though: if I wanted to switch my Vestax PDX-3000 from 230v to 110v, what part would I need to swap? Any help would be appreciated. Thanks!
Shickle Bee I've never done an internal ground mod, but I imagine it would be the same process as the technics. I'll give it a look and see what I come up with. I don't see why you need a ground mod to paint them though?
Great tutorial! I have a couple questions, though. One, did you consider using a converter and driver to power the LEDs from the main power, as opposed to using power from the target light? It looks like there's enough room in the cabinet for those components. Two, it looks like that halo is simply a piece of styrofoam with an LED strip attached. Did you make that yourself, or did you buy it like that?
El Kinesis thanks for the comment. Yes I have used a power converter for RGB led strips because the target light power isn't very strong. 10mm polystyrene foam, with Led strips which I make myself.
I've done this to mine a while back and was surprised how tuff and dense the plastic casing was.
Sick! I have the a set of OG 2Ks but have a D3s I can experiment with. Wish I would have found this video ages go to do this same mod.
Where did you find the foam rings?

Where did you get the halo
Looks like he made it. Very thin LED lights that wrap around a foam cut out. You can see he manually cut the foam and wrapped it with the LED lights.
I would like to repeat that question where did u get that halo to buy???
sean8000 I made them myself. Maybe I'll do a tutorial soon
st3pupdj you should
Definitely or make me up a couple for a good price:)
