The main problem i feel people get with error FFF is simply people don't read the description properly and don't pay attention to what mods cause conflicts. As well as I find vulkan is almost a must for rdr2 modding. I always appreciate the work the info you put into helping people. ❤
@@ItsDeepz_I use vulkan but my frames are bad. It’s only good when I use dx12 because I installed an fsr 3 mod that only works on dx12. Using vulkan will just crash the game.
Playing with most mods is best to do it as john, bc if you play with ambient gang or undead nightmare II you will almost always make the enemies come for your gang and it gets messy. If you wanna play arthur without struggle use rampage trainer and choose arthur somewhere in the options. I my self have a lot ton of mods for rdr2 and its lot of fun. The only crashes i had was while shooting npcs with shotguns because i had bloodlust and other realistic blood mod which on ultra particle setting makes it a milk shake like when the blood spreads out, so yeah dont play on ultra particle setting or your game will jave heart attack
Did you find a fix for this? I have had buyable properties installed for months and all of a sudden got the ffff error mid game. now I can only boot with this mod uninstalled...
Nice video. First time modding RDR2 last month with your videos and everything worked great. With the RDR2 update today, can you explain what you have to do with a modded game. There's not that many videos about updating a modded RDR2 after an update compared to GTA V. I backed up my RDR2 folder, so I still have that available. Is there a way to revert the game back or do we simply have to wait for certain mods to update..

For whatever Reason my Game (Modded) has just Started with the "FFFFF Error" whenever i die and the Post- Death Screen comes up to Restart from Checkpoint etc. Can't seem to fix it
Mods do work on a cracked version but you have to find all the old files that go along with the cracked version of the game. You also have to use an old file of the vision file. It’s a process but it works lol

For me I was getting the fffffff Error in Saint Denis I couldn’t be there 5 mins without it crashing, it was indeed the buyable properties mod which I had no problem deleting being that everytime I went in one of my “properties” Arthur for some reason looked like a zombie straight out of the walking dead 😂🤦🏻♂️
for me it also crashes with the properties mod but the most crashes i get is with the amjm transport mod which i really hate cause amjm transport is my favourite mod

I never had a pc before, (except a Mac), and when I got my first Steam Deck, I was instantly able to mod my games, I had no experience in Windows or Linux at the time, so what are you talking about? Obviously if your PC is struggling to run RDR 2 on its own, it’s going to be even harder to run mods on top of RDR 2. You literally have no good points, they are lazy if they have good PCs and they have experience with their OS, guides are supposed to help people, why would it exist in the first place, people who still can’t run mods just doesn’t want to cooperate, listen carefully to what they say then do it. I might sound redundant but i don’t care, I’m just replying to you so you can know that it is possible to mod with a bad (the Steam Deck is great as a budget pc, I’m not dunking on it) PC and no experience. (before you use something against me, the Steam Deck is a mid-end pc, you can correct me if ya want but it runs RDR 2 at 30 fps, and it drops in towns, so it’s kind of weak with the mods on top of that 😐)

I thought u were referring to people who can't download mods without a guide, calling em lazy and all. But Linux has 🍷, so you can play exes in Linux, I don’t know what you are on about, everyone with the minimum requirements to run RDR2 are able to run mods, maybe not 4k upscaled mods or graphics mods but like gameplay enhancing mods, whether you have experience with Windows (or Linux) or not. RDR2 is fun on its own, mods just enhance the features that are already in the game. Look at the Steam Deck 4GB VRAM but I was able to run 4k mods, 16GB RAM but I’m able to go to Saint Denis and cause havoc no problem, a AMD card that’s on par with a 10 year old GPU (GTX 1050) but I’m able to run graphics mods. the fff error can be caused by a lot of different things. the ffff basically means it don’t know wtf is going on in the game code. if u modded the game. chances are it’s prolly that

So why does my game crash when using mods. I’m on chapter 2 and on the mission where Lenny and Arthur go get drunk. It just keeps crashing on missions. The only mods I’m using are the basics that you posted and WHYEMS DLC.

Help me please! the screen freezes when fire spreads to a farm in the mission (Burning down a Tobacco farm with Sean) and it shows a message saying "game error, please reboot the game." When I opened the game and played that mission again, the same thing happened in the same scene, a fire. Well, ill explain everything so i can may let you know what my problem is, i was playing some of my rdr2 modded and i didnt ever use bandoliers bc i was never into it, but when i decided to give it a try for the whyems or eastern bandoliers, my game simply crashes with the ffffffff error, ill list exactly what i done after this crash. I looked up to this video, i reinstalled the game in another hard disk but i only installed the mod loader, rampage trainer, the eee merge + gfa and the online content unlocker and also the scripthook ofc (im not using rdoffline mod btw, and im using vulkan). The crash still happens, i alr asked for some eastern epic extras discord people for help and they couldnt help me exactly for my problem, the thing is, idk why but it only happens in the bandolier menu, even the normal reinforced equipment tab of the normal game, if a bandolier tab appear, the game crashes, i really dont know why, im seriously thinking about forgetting about bandoliers but im only giving this one last try by commenting in this vid, if you know everything that can help me, please answer me.
@@ItsDeepz_ Well, some update, i fixed the bandolier problem and i was finally happy to be playing without any errors in eee merge, but, 30 minutes later, whenever i decide to camp or teleport with rampage, the game crashes, i decided now that the problem is mainly the eee merge so i will only use whyems and see if this solves everything, anyways, thanks for your vids they really let me know of cool mods and you always do extremely easy to understand videos for how to install and deal with mods, keep up mate.
I figured out that the merge is the problem bc whenever I tried to play without the merge and only using whyems there was no glitches at all, i was just trying to find some fixing bc eastern gives a good amount of customization things, but i prefer playing without it than not playing at all

And i have various missing files such as rdr2.exe etc, Game still works fine but are those files just different since its on rockstar launcher or do i need to reinstall those files? The problem for me is when i go to the camp, i don't know why but everytime i go there, the game crash with the FFFFF error. I can go in every place in the map and the game don't crush, except in the gang camp

There’s an option you need to change in house buying ini file to play as Arthur

yo man I got a little issue with a mod, mod being Roleplayer's dream I did exactly as said on the page and I watched your tutorial on how to download mods thinking I missed something but I did everything right, and it doesn't work like It should, can you please please make a tutorial on that specific mod
I’d first check other mods you have. You probably have something conflicting or you installed incorrectly
It conflicts with seats mod and Needs mod.
What if I changed the vulkan to 12 when not knowing do I just delete and reinstall the game?

I have an issue. I have no GPU on my pc, but I'm playing RDR2 with low settings, and it doesn't lag for me. But when I install the ScriptHook and some mods (or just one mod), it crashes my game a few minutes later. Can i fix this, somehow?
I tried out modding with only the basic needs final cut mod and just kept getting the FFFFF so it must be the mod thats buggy?

When i go to download both LML and Script hook they are being flagged for Trojans?
They are fine, the only reason that happens is because they have to go into your rdr files

Well, ill explain everything so i can may let you know what my problem is, i was playing some of my rdr2 modded and i didnt ever use bandoliers bc i was never into it, but when i decided to give it a try for the whyems or eastern bandoliers, my game simply crashes with the ffffffff error, ill list exactly what i done after this crash.
I looked up to this video, i reinstalled the game in another hard disk but i only installed the mod loader, rampage trainer, the eee merge + gfa and the online content unlocker and also the scripthook ofc (im not using rdoffline mod btw, and im using vulkan). The crash still happens, i alr asked for some eastern epic extras discord people for help and they couldnt help me exactly for my problem, the thing is, idk why but it only happens in the bandolier menu, even the normal reinforced equipment tab of the normal game, if a bandolier tab appear, the game crashes, i really dont know why, im seriously thinking about forgetting about bandoliers but im only giving this one last try by commenting in this vid, if you know everything that can help me, please answer me.

@@ItsDeepz_ Well, some update, i fixed the bandolier problem and i was finally happy to be playing without any errors in eee merge, but, 30 minutes later, whenever i decide to camp or teleport with rampage, the game crashes, i decided now that the problem is mainly the eee merge so i will only use whyems and see if this solves everything, anyways, thanks for your vids they really let me know of cool mods and you always do extremely easy to understand videos for how to install and deal with mods, keep up mate.
I figured out that the merge is the problem bc whenever I tried to play without the merge and only using whyems there was no glitches at all, i was just trying to find some fixing bc eastern gives a good amount of customization things, but i prefer playing without it than not playing at all

I had installed some mods and they worked fine but then suddenly the game wont launch. I can go in online but not story mode. I have tried redownloading many times and deleting all my mods but nothing works. Do u know whats wrong?
You shouldn’t be able to go online with mods, so somethings wrong. Easiest way would be to start from scratch

Hello!, First off i just wanna say your videos are great and enjoying! But I need some help if you can assist me. So my rdr2 game is installed from the rockstar launcher. NOT STEAM. And i have various missing files such as rdr2.exe etc, Game still works fine but are those files just different since its on rockstar launcher or do i need to reinstall those files? And if i need to reinstall them, how do I?

The problem for me is when i go to the camp, i don't know why but everytime i go there, the game crash with the FFFFF error.

@@ItsDeepz_ I wanted to change the configuration setting on basic needs to add the canteen, I needed to change “0” to “1” but I’m new on modding and don’t know how to edit a configuration setting, for me whenever I leave it it doesn’t save
