It is a blessing to have this type of high quality documentary for free!
Lol 🔥
It's not free. Pay your phone bill witch includes UA-cam. But it's dam cheap. And we both like that.
Especially with Charles Dance as the narrator
@@hartmutboekler5054 do you have the video link of that ad? And is the ad free to watch?
I just discovered this series a few weeks ago. I’m hooked! It’s like a soap opera. Fallen kingdoms…banished Queens, rebellions, it’s so fantastic!!! ❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️
Young and the Restless huh 😂. Sekekoma is Victor Newman 😂
have included footage of staged events that appear "natural" while actually contrived by filmmakers or occurring in captivity.
Do anyone know the sequence of the series
@@Rich.psychopathSekekama& his brother torn nose have been and remained in Botswana even after the film crews left. It's unclear if the two males are still alive since they'd be old rn. Their sons carry on their family name, and if you went on safari there, you'd see them, they're real!!

Best nature commentator ever
I swear this is the only series I’ve actually considered paying the $20 something to download full seasons. I could listen to this narrator all day. He’s the gold standard of this genre.

yesss... What was ur favorite??? My fave was the hyenas v wild dogs...
Did you know that hyenas are more closely related to cats than dogs?
Can I watch with you??
The narrator hasn’t uttered a single wasted word, very concise commentary
~ Really Love the way his thinking. ~❤~
I swear these lions know they are tv stars lol
Its amazing how he explains the lions communications between each other and behavior
I know right
have included footage of staged events that appear "natural" while actually contrived by filmmakers or occurring in captivity.
I guess he's part Lion......
that's just a guessing; or empathy is how we'd describe that, which may or may not be correct but is indeed closest to correct,
its that other animals except for humans only have instincts, they aren't re-thinking about their past thoughts, they learn from mistakes, but they can't describe like "here I was polite and I let cubs eat"; no and there's nothing rude about it, if a lioness haven't eaten in a while she'll charge at her cubs so she can eat, once fed, she'll let her babies eat as well, it's just instincts in their world.

I don't believe that anyone could do a better job of narrating these episodes than who they already have narrating!! Great job!!
Right!!!😊

😊Right!!!!
When Tywin Lannister commentates a wildlife documentary... it feels like watching Game of Thrones again!
Love these animal documentaries they have a deep and intriguing story and the narrator tells it perfectly..

I love animals documentary too, but I hate those commentaries because they humanize the behaviors. Those animals are no killers, they just have to eat....
@@pitfrr i understand where you’re coming from but I’d imagine this makes it more appealing for viewers. Although this was pretty in your face with it now that I’m watching more after your comment lol
These lions shows so much emotions towards each other. Almost like humans, even if you actually see their faces you instantly know what emotion are they now showing. Its tough for them live like that
I love how each lion has its own character.
I agree but it is so much more than that! I hope in all that you do it is so much more fulfilling may you be able to make all of your dreams come true!!! Bless you and your family ❤
'In their wake, take between his legs, the prodigal son returns. Humiliated, Sekedi could not lead them after all. Sekekama has a choice, forgive or banish his son and exile him for good. His majesty chooses mercy. He needs their unified strength and gambles for the reward'. Savage!

the narrator is so good I actually believe the animals really mean to say what he says they're saying. 😆🤣. great video.

The Old Lion of Casterly Rock narrating the story of Kings and Rebellions with actual lions in the plains of Africa as the characters is just plain badass. 😎

Being patient made the hyena queen win it all, she didn't have to do anything but wait and was rewarded.
This narrator and his writers are so adept at putting words and thoughts into the lions, hyenas and dog’s actions and motives.
Whew honey the drama! This was so good! When the father lion tackled his son I definitely thought there was about to be a war lol
Run and hide little boys... You're nobody on your own! That had Me rolling! 😂😉
Cant believe the Father lion has let the boys stay for so long a lot of males get kicked out and dont even have any maine hair on their neck crazy and interesting that he lets them stay.
Also love how he is so gentle with the cubs alot of Males dont want anything to do with them seems like a good dad
The Father lion probably lived the same lives as his son's with a big pride and plenty of food to go around. Smaller prides tend to struggle with feeding everyone and tend to be much more aggressive especially with male lions old enough to challenge the King.
He needs his sons for help against incoming coalitions. It's not uncommon for 4-6 male lions working together to overthrow other pride alphas.
yea parents are soft these days..
back in my days I tell u😅😅😅
Savage kingdom is the best hands down and this narrator is matched by NO ONE I watch to hear him tell the story I can watch savage kingdom all day keep them coming because we are here for it all.
He is the actor of Tywin Lannister even without seeing his face, you can know how charismatic he is.

Is it just a coincidence that they got the guy who plays Tywin Lannister, who’s family symbol is the lion, to be the narrator of a documentary series about lions?
Sekekama is a good boy. He doesn't really want to hurt other lions. He just just wants peace and prosperity. But there can be only one king.
With his mercy... He is telling his son...
"I not old. I'm not weak."
"Your time will come."
He wanted to mate with lioness's hence he was chased away.
@@erickgaxa3365 That is the way of lions. Yes.
Usually. But there are reasons Sekekama allowed his sons to overstay their normal exile date.
* The pride was stronger with their added muscle.
* And ... Sekekama really cared about his sons and didn't want to fight them. Or exile them.
But...there can only be one king.
This is how I wish our world was. Where it was just brute strength against brute strength not all this race religion political bs we got going on. Wish I born inna old world not this soft as cotton super PC world we in now

We are ANIMALS. We do use power.
To quote STARSHIP TROOPERS...
"..Force, The ultimate authority from which all other authority is derived"... "When we vote, we are exercising political force".
We are animals. Same as lions. Everything we do..except possibly when we just react...like snatching a kid out a dangerous situation...is driven by instinctive self interest.
Politics makes no difference. Ideologies are just means to an end. The more voters you have... The more claws and fangs you have.
In human terms... Convicts would be the banished exiled lions.....(toughening them up)..
Politicians, Judges, and Generals are the kings.
The rest of us are just ordinary Pride/Pack members. Sadly.
remember when sekekama killed sekedi's Big brother and he absolutely showed him no mercy ,,,,I'd say sekekama is aggressive when he needs to be 😊

I absolutely adore Spotted Hyenas. They get a bad rap but I like them. Very unique. One of the best hunters in Africa!

There is a clip of Notch who was kicked out of his pride during Big Cat Diary series and Notch met up with his sons. Notch took care of his 5 youngsters featured in the movie Africans Cats. Notch kept all 5 of his fully grown sons in check, they immediately submit to his authority.
Loved Notch's story. He has amazing descendants today, who are continuing his legacy.
I have been waiting for this!! Thank you!
21:27 Sakekema. The king is not allowing his oldest son tsikidi and lioness to eat first, but he's allowing the cubs to eat with him. That's a Sakekema rule eh 😮

Once again for the umpteenth time, this is riveting, the narrator is brilliant, the writing may be better, Sekekama holds it together with his bravado and take no prisoners attitude.

The dogs are superior hunters, I mean they rip apart their food, there's no nice way to put it, hunger and survival instincts is a potent recipe, even us, you'd be surprised at what lengths we'd go to to get food if we had to.
I know what you mean. I have seen kids eat rats in Africa on TV.
[ 15:55 ] I know there's a fictional storyline being narrated (See next timestamp and footage), but it's still funny seeing hyenas acting as "spies," and trying to go unnoticed while following dogs and waiting on them to make a kill.
[ 16:25 ] You can see the hyena's torn ear has miraculous healed itself after the wild dog attack. Good job, Nat Geo Wild!

The narrator is Awesome
. It raises questions about the complex social dynamics within a pride of lions and the factors that can lead to conflict and betrayal. What drives these lions to turn on their own kind? Is it a struggle for power, resources, or something else entirely?
I think the reason Sekekama let his sons stick around is he wanted them to help protect the pride against a coalition. but of course this comes with a price, the older they get the more rebellious they become. Remember, he ALLOWED them to stay, which means he understood the risk. So logic suggest, his decision was based on assistance more than anything. Think about it, why continue to fight them instead of banishing them? He didn't want to let go of the pride, as it would definitely happen if he banished his sons.
Agreed he needs them around to protect against coalitions and until the current set of cubs are old enough to atleast teenage years where they can defend themselves.
I assume Sekekama grew up the only surviving male of his litter. Lone male lions have it tough..they have to win over prides by themselves then defend that pride by themselves often from atleast 2/3 other lions in a coalition. There are some coalitions that have been numbered more than 3.
@@hiighway_chile4080you’re right, growing up a lone lion is super tough, I can’t believe I’m saying this but Sekakhama is one odd King, he seems to value protection of family over turning out the teenage males. He wants to protect them from the hardships he faced
@@alaromukhtar2127oh please it’s much more about control than protection when it comes to males.😂
Then Sekekama is one smart & strategic male lion then! Bcuz it's basically impossible to rule & defend ur pride if ur the only male of that pride bcuz most prides in the wild always have 2 or more males leading/ruling that pride! It's very rare to see 1 single male lion rule a pride bcuz his chances don't last very long at all! The lone leader always gets caught slipping & is jumped/mauled to death in a slow painful death! It's quite brutal to watch & I can't stomach it no more as I get older lol! I used to be able to watch it without being uncomfortable but now I just think it's too sad & brutal to watch. I'd rather watch lil cubs being killed by male lions (even tho that's still quite sad) bcuz it's quick ya kno? Sekekama is smart like the infamous Notch lion who rule for a super long time with his 6 sons! Great story if u have not seen or hrd bout it my friend 👍💯
@@FeezFBabyCan i know the title of Notch documentary about him ?
