I played this again after ignoring it for so long and it was a great and fun game!
NFS Rivals was a modern take on the classic NFS era of the 90s to early 2000s. The open roads, racing sports cars, supercars, hypercars against the police and the weather dynamic. Major nostalgia!
I have skipped the last years of NFS, just now when Steam got 20yrs I got NFS Heat for just 7 bucks and well it got a little bit of everything: a bit Undercover, a bit Underground, a bit Pro Street, a bit Hot Pursuit, a bit Most Wanted and a bit of: I don't like how the steering is nowadays (a classic).
I would love Rivals again if for once it wouldn't crash every hour.

Personally I would love to have a sequel: the game is too small.
Continuation of the Story, More Races, Balancing The Weapons and Health Bars a lot more I have to say but a proper sequel would be nice.
id love to see F8 try and convince zephyr that hes not on the cop side anymore, and have the entire story expanded about zephyr trying to outright kill F8@@SUPnurA
whilst the cop career player investigates the entire commotion and incident, as the RCPD becomes afraid of another racing spree

@@Danymok I'd argue the game being stuck at night was what helped the aesthetic as the darker roads mixed with the night fog helped hide the imperfections.
Then again, the game looked absolutely beautiful during sunrise so maybe day time would still look ridiculously impressive idk.

i miss playing this game all honestly back when it came out gonna have to start all over again though since no longer have the save..
If there was a new need for speed world gosh i miss that i would love to see the implementation of player cops too but maybe in the case of not indiscrimtatly attacking like doing stunts maybe can ooo car meet areas too if people want to chill and all like how it was on the baseball stadium back then

@@N4t3_ thats not a fix. it just speeds up your gameplay and 60fps causes more bug to this game.
Nope maybe you have instability issues i got 60 fps fix and everything runs perfectly fine.

what do you play on? i play on ps4 and the only bug i have experienced is my driving skill cutting out? still one of the only 10/10 need for speed games like nfs most wanted (2009) rivals and hot pursit
i play on PC and I think PC has the major bugs.

Despite its obvious flaws it remains as my third favorite in the entire series, but I’m sure that’s only because my top 2 or the OG Hot Pursuit 2, and HP2010

Not sure how long you’ve been playing, but Rivals definitely is too chaotic even at Heat 2, literally everything will be zeroing in on you

The last NFS game that can be called "A game with a soul".
0:30 I also haven't faced any bugs in this game except that short freezing in Time Travels. It's not a big problem since it only freeze the game for about a second or two. And even that hasn't happened more than two-three times.
I like we can play single player still I don't get bored by it. This shows COPS in NFS are so much important. But the game is too small.
This bug I always face this no matter what. 😫
I'll be the one to say the only solid game after rivals was heat however I think every single game with the exception of payback on the modern era has a soul, even if with lacking execution.
@@yol_n I never played 2015, cant comment on that but yes as per my ranking I rank Heat as the number 1: modern NFS Game.

What I like about Unbound is the Multiplayer. Unbound can be the best, but it took some backward decision that I don't like.
@@SUPnurA Yeah. Heat was better than 2015 and Payback. 2015 also had a potential, but it's like cake that bakers did everything except baking it LOL. Also Unbound is a pretty good game. It has a unique style and it's the only game that came in a long time that isn't identical to others. It also has some innovative aspects. But the problem of it that the gameplay and the story isn't as impressive as Heat.
@blenderpunk2077 with Updates there is some hope Unbound can be better. I hope they can bring updates as long as possible. 🤞🏾

This month I am planning on making videos on Crew Motorfest. So maybe I will play Rivals once a week now and will upload Rivals video minimum 1 per week.

wait how do i get the F50 and the One:1 on the pc version? I noticed i'm missing a lot of cars in the pirated version...(maybe cause its pirated??) Can someone link the version with these cars in it?
Bruh.. I bought NFS Rivals Complete Edition for 250 rupees on Steam.
About One:1 it was given free DLC.
F50 and one:1 are DLC cars. But you can get them on a Pirated version if you use the "Cop2Racer" mod. It converts all the cop cars into racer career and unlocks both Overwatch and DLC Cars.
sadly we cant OWN Overwatch items without using the mods 😪

I've started to get sick of this game. It never saves my progress after I close it. I dont know how I'm going to keep playing. Apparently there's a trick by switching factions and then closing the game but I'll see if it's true.

The fact is now everyone has ssd and good pc still this game is buggy. I know optimization plays a role.
I sometimes think about doing Live Streaming of this game but the game doesn't even run bug free even for 1 hour straight.

That save file issue happens when your windows defender prevents apps from accessing your document folder. It's not the game's fault. Try running the game as Administrator. I have heard of many bugs this game have (Which I have never faced), but this is the only time I heard someone saying about a saving issue.
I love this game but the crashing or that "Void" glitch makes me wanna kick EA and Ghost in the nuts...

@SUPnurA I had that thought too. But then I remembered they off'ed Ghost so they won't pay it any mind. Minus giving Rivals license plates for NFS 2015, Payback, Heat, and Unbound.

@SUPnurA well I hope it leads to better NFS titles. Unbound was a good step with its creativity, good online and car looks and sounds. Story wasn't too bad either

@@SUPnurA i mean i did experience one bug tho it wasn't that frequent, when i reach like 200 mph the car would stop and the map would load and then when its done the car would unpause and continue going 💀

@@SUPnurA I'm not hating NFS Unbound, but I think personally that Rivals is better. The only cons in the nfs unbound are about the cartoonish feeling, the music it uses, the not so realistic graphics filters, the weird sounds cars actually do in game. I still think it's good, but Rivals. Rivals is better actually. And for more fun Most Wanted is even better.
Rivals is a better hot pursuit.
Proper Open World it has compare to HP2010 bland open world

@@SUPnurA the cop is too OP like the durability difference is a bit too far compare to racer, the gameplay is great but it doesn't give the sense of speed like Hot Pursuit 2010 did.
And last but not least: bugs, this game got too much bugs.
But overall, this game is fun to play
@@Jean_Driftstein yep the durability I agree. Even there are no cooldowns or limits for amount repairs we can use.
The bugs are literally game breaking bugs tbh.
