I think in your heart you are already a Muslim. Allah knows what is in the hearts so He already knows. To be a Muslim you have to truly believe Allah(God) is the only one true God and Muhammad (peace be upon him) is his messenger and servant.
Also, if you have Christians background , you must believe Jesus to be a messenger and servant of God. That is it. Just say 'I witness that there is no God but Allah and Muhammad (preace be upon him) is his messenger and servant" , even alone in your room, and Allah and his angels will be you witnesses. Once you say those words ALL your past sins will be forgiven. You will be like a new born.
Also , if it is ok and safe for you to do, you need to contact your local masjid imam (make sure it not a Amadyia or Shia masjid) and make your declaration in front of other Muslims ( don't worry the imam or women will guide you through that what to say word by word ) . This way the Muslim brothers and sisters will look after you , help you with prayers etc and make sure you have an Islamic funeral (with 100s of Muslims praying for you )+burial when your time comes. if you die as a follower of prophet Muhammad (peace be him) then insha'Allah you are guaranteed Jannah (paradise). May Allah (swt) bless you and make it easy for you. AMEEN!

1. Would Mohammad suffer all this for no monetary gain.?
2.Would he honor a Jewish woman above all other woman of the world, Mary mother of Jesus? Why would an Arab do that to people who had message from God, the Jew of the Torah, and looked down upon the Arab? he did not even mention his own daughter that he love dearly, or wife, or mother.. Arab of that time would be happier if he would have mention an Arab person rather than a Jew woman.
3.Would he show that God correct him in a book that he wrote himself? It does not fit human psychology to write a book , let a lone a book claiming to be from god to you as a prophet, and then criticize yourself in it
4. Why would he order 5 prayers, and you have to wash before praying, and the Early morning , dawn, prayer is difficult to wake up to do, he could have made it easy on himself and his followers, one prayer without washing if he were false prophet, we would do that for sure, why fasting a whole month!! attract more loyal with one day fasting , at most...why all this work! he prayed it is not like charity he may claim that he paid it but no one would verify it , it was 5 prayer A DAY!!! and pray in group so they see him, an entire month of Ramadan fasting!!
5. When his baby Ibrahim died, there were eclipse in the same day, sun eclipse, people said that could be the heaven is sad for the prophet son death, it would be wonderful opportunity to come out and say "see, that is a sign and indeed it is because of my son" yet he was angered and quickly made a speech saying more or less "the sun and the moon are God's signs they do not eclipse for the death of man ".
6. upon his Death, Peace and blessing be upon him, ok he is going away now, why not recommend his daughter that he love so much or his grand sons when they mature after him, or his cousin etc.. he did not...
7. why would he prohibit alcohol, Arabs used to love it and suckle that liquid like a hungry kitten , that I am raising right now, why spoil their fun, let them have that drink.. but he was not speaking from his mind, it was God command.. There are many more, we did not even mention the Quran predication, the prophet predication, but this may suffice even to any hardcore objective doubter. May God give us light, wisdom, and happiness in this life and the hereafter.
Hearing this could lead to 3 ways
Depend on intentions that no one could read.
1-ears will reject before it starts.
2-taking it to meditation level.
3-feeling god is talking to you

As a Muslim reading Quran every day with fluent Arabic, I still trying to fully understand it, some verses are clear and direct so it’s easy to understand, but some of them carry multiple meanings and need deep understanding, more than that it is in eloquent language but still smooth at same time, that why we never get tired of reading or listening to it many times, for me every time I read Quran I understand another thing in it every time, even the islamic scholars giving their entire life in understanding it and teaching it to the people.
What it means is that on the day of judgment every person who as been in this world will be resurrected and gathered and judge fairly and if they deny anything there hands ears eyes will speak against them for every thing belongs to the almighty🤲
He will give the food even the criminals and disbelievers. God is all merciful
Poetry has always been a huge part of the Arabic language/culture, especially at the time of the prophet Mohammed peace be upon him, who was an illiterate. The Quran is recited/written in a poetic manner, full of big old Arabic words, metaphors and examples, as proof that it truly is the word of Allah/God since an illiterate couldn’t have possibly made it up on his own.
The translations of the Quran are always different because sometimes there aren’t equivalent words in the translated language to the Arabic words used in the Quran, which can be confusing to a non Arabic speaker. But you are absolutely correct in that as with poetry, one needs to reflect and decipher what the intended meanings are.
As Muslims we believe that there are levels in both heaven and hell, where depending on your piety and good deeds you will be rewarded accordingly. A non-believer isnt necessarily the one who does not believe in the oneness of God, but a non-believer is also the one who transgresses against the teachings of God. And Allah warns us that it’s not enough to be a Muslim or to believe in his existence because if one disobeys his teachings and transgresses then hellfire could be their punishment in the hereafter.
The chapters towards the end of the Quran are full of warnings and talks a lot about Judgement day. These are the chapters that were revealed to the Prophet when he first started preaching about Islam. I would definitely encourage you to read some of the longer chapters, which are full of beautiful stories of the prophets and messengers of the Abrahamic religions (Judaism, Christianity and Islam). As Muslims, we believe in all those prophets as they all came with the same message, that God is one and we should worship none but him.

How do you think scientists have come up with noble prize ideas? It’s by using their brains, by thinking and deciphering the meaning behind what they’re seeing or learning.
A good teacher is the type that will challenge you, that will guide you yet encourage you to think for your own, to make your own decisions. How else are we supposed to learn, strive and succeed otherwise? That’s what the Quran, the word of God is teaching us. There’s always room for growth, to find inspiration in the things around you.
It’s an historic fact that the Muslims were pioneers in many fields of science including maths, physics, astronomy, medicine, etc. All because the words in the Quran inspired them to do so. To learn and seek knowledge, to actually use one’s brains.
So you tell me, what kind of God wants his people to flock like sheep and not think for their own? Allah tells us in the Quran to believe in him and to see his signs in every single thing around us. Those who see it and understand the magnificence of Allah, those are the true believers.
Decide what you want to do, believe in whatever you believe. You have the absolute right to do so. But leave other people do and believe what they want to because they have that same right, too.

He can run his mouth and says whatever he wants, it’s not the first time anyone has done such a thing, but Subhan Allah many of those who attack Allah/Islam/The Prophet PBUH end up being guided when they search for the truth. Have you heard of the far right Dutch politician Joram Van Klaveren? He was part of the political party in the Netherlands that hated and attacked Islam in ignorance... Subhan Allah, Allah guided him to the truth and he reverted to Islam last year. Look him up, interesting story! Allah says in the Quran “But they plan and Allah plans and Allah is the best of planners” 8:30 Subhan Allah & Alhamdulillah 💕
As for those who persist on being ignorant, they remind me of this ayah “And bear with patience, (O Muhammad) - and your patience is only because of the help of Allah - and do not grieve over them, nor feel distressed by their evil plans” Quran 16:127

If you are a Catholic, you might want to listen to the chapter called Maryam (Mother Mary for christians) which tells the beautiful story about Jesus (Prophet Isaa). You will find a lot of stuff that you will be able to relate.
And about the meaning of verses, one thing you need to remember that Quran did not came in the same sequence as we see it today. It came from Allah as groups of verses front time to time. And all those groups of verses came to guide the prophet during different contexts and situations of his life. Later they were regrouped and arranged into different chapters. So if you really want to understand the meaning if the verses, you also need to know which time in his life those verses came in and in what context god sent those verses to the prophet.

When Allah say you Criminal/disbelievers He doesn't means that all of us are criminal, He is addressing those who deny his commands and spread injustice and misguidance regardless their religions. I use to struggle understanding verses like you till I got a Quran with translation in my mother tongue.

sister to understand the Quran you need to read the translational books and meaning behind the verses because it will explain the reason why the verses came down and sometimes they talk to specific people or prophet or say a story and so to understand it fully you need to dig deep into the surah and ayat. Me as an Arab myself I read the Quran in Arabic and still don't understand most of it due to the words used they are hard but also due to them holding a message and story behind them, but once I learn the meaning of the ayah then reading it becomes more emotional and make sense.
A tip:
learning the stories of the prophets will make a lot of sense when reading the Quran, there are some Islamic videos that tell the stories of them in a simple way, also try watching or reading the quranic stories, there is a lot of stories mentioned in the Quran so we can benefit from them, and when knowing those stories your understanding of the Quran will increase by at least 60% if not more.

The verse talking about generations of humans means we are the last( people of MUHAMMAD PBH till end of days) while the first were people of Adam (those lived with Adam ) till the a prophet after Adam came.
So the day of judgement will host the whole of man kind from 1st to d last
People will be assembled from the time of Adam (as) to the last ones all at the same time on the day of judgement

Unfortunately we know the truth but we forget God and we follow our desires until we die and in the judgement day we ask for forgiveness and another chance to do good things.

First off, it is a chapter in the Quran wherein Allah (swt) foremost swears that there is a day of judgment. He then addresses the group of people who are in denial of the judgment day by telling them what will happen on judgment day. There are several other verses interlinked where Allah has warned for man to worship Him and do good deeds while avoiding and averting evil. Those who obey his command are then the righteous and will have gardens beneath which rivers flow while the unbelievers in the day of judgment will be sent to hell fire and Allah by this chapter describes what being in hell is like and give woe unto such unbelievers. U can approach an Islamic scholar and read the whole of the meaning of the Quran to get a bigger picture.
