- I Will Sing The Wondrous Story is presented here to Hyfrydol - one of the most loved Welsh tunes - (better known for Hallelujah! Sing To Jesus). In this recording, Robin Mark leads hundreds of men as they worship at the 1999 Care conference. The worship that appears on the CD is just incredible - "anointed" as one music store salesman put it. It might have been recorded over 20 years ago, but it sounds just as good today.
Hearing just male voices actually sounds great. The tempo of this rendition might feel a tad slow, but it really works, especially when you sing along heartily.

Robin once more misses the mark...stories are stories and they sustain false emotions and sentiments. Jesus is more than twice told tales and clever pictures about what life was like before Him and images about what might await us when we die. Can such a river also wash away our illusions about Christian life easily.?

Robin Mark is not remarkable.The pace of this song is far too slow and its wearisome in its delivery.

@@rosehunter1136 You are entitled to your estimation of him but I cannot bear people filling their songs with inaccurate reading of Scripture and how people are deceived into thinking that such mistaken songs can take the place of reading the word of God and following Jesus commands. I think worship is now one of the most degraded and debased activities in the modern church. I would end by saying that if Robin Mark cared for the integrity of the Christian message he would not have allowed this song to be turned into the tub thumping war chant by the Marines which made me suspicious of it even more. Warmongers will go to hell and so will the misreaders of the Bible and may I rest my case. I am no longer a fan of worship songs and I do not like people glorifying war in the adoption of religious references. I know it goes on but now particularly it should not.
@@rhodiusscrolls3080 I stand on God’s Holy Word and every Monday morning I’m part of a group of God-revering women who declare Scripture and sing worship songs as intercession over the lost. We’ve had ten foot tall warrior angels with swords in the center of the room as we sing and pray! We know we’re in God’s Throne Room as we do this for three hours every Monday morning and have done for 23 years.
