I have a Bontreger dropper and it’s been going strong for over a year. I upgraded the dropper lever to the Wolf Tooth. It’s really nice. My newest bike has the Fox Transfer and their new lever. Definitely a high quality component!
I have the bontrager and while out on the trail it must have bent and will not return trek offered me 20%discount on the new one but im gonna tell em to get effed and im gonna upgrade with the fox transfer hope its a good decision.
@@alcaholic640 I have a Fox Transfer also, it definitely feels more precise and the new Fox dropper lever is on par with the real nice Wolf Tooth dropper lever
This could be relevant to people looking for dropper posts: sp00n.net/bike/seatposts/ It's a list where you can filter according to your current saddle height, although I haven't updated it in a while. I'll have to check if all the seatposts in this video are still correct.
I'm looking to get back into the sport. Glad to see droppers are an actual thing now. I'd probably want a frame with (very) steep seat tube angle where there post is inserted. Short insert length then vital for rear wheel clearance. Being someone who likes to throw bikes in the back of a car, and hanving sick long inseam, long travel dropper posts look like the best thing ever. Now only one thing is missing... What about suspension for use on hardtails? Canecreek had this 4" parallelogram suspension post that that kinda OK when it didn't squeak. 2" of "vertical" travel, especially when the STA is nice and steep, would be pretty cool. I guess most serious riders are on fullies nowadays and the way racing and trails have developed, I get that. I guess I'll just need to find me a 29+ Trek fullie and throw on the best possible dropper that can handle the extension I need?
@@MtbrVideos one of the most specced post on the market, bombproof, plus super cool customer service and backup if u get in trouble with some wear n tear parts! Got it once on a Santa Cruz Chameleon and allways coming back to it.
Reverb AXS is insanely expensive. But then again it’s the only wireless system on the market.
Just bought the PNW loam post and lever and it is unbelievably smooth.
Just got my Revive 2.0 and very happy about my investment. Great video. Btw are you pinoy?

Maybe 2022 add our new system of dropper seatposts in the compare list? :)

How about X-Fusion? What is your opinion? Also, what is a good affordable option for external routing if the Reverb AXS is out of the budget?
One up 210mm dropper with one up remote, couldn't have spent money better.
I got the OneUp dropper with the PNW Loam lever. Awesome combo!
Correct the OneUp dropper is tops but their lever is not quite there as it has a bit of flex on it. The PNW Loam lever is one of the best.
Grate job love the video keep it up
Thank you.
no sdg tellis? wdf
What is that one? Have not really heard of it. What's good about it?

Come on guys! You don’t say 200 bucks, you say it is $200 dollars… amazing how many reviews I see and don’t use proper English! 😢
