"Diggin' my Potato" is a song on the Cowboy Bebop soundtrack that I love. Now I've heard Muddy's "Diggin' my Potatoes" and I can see why they must've named that song after this one. Two damn good songs now both in my library

this Record was put out by Muse in the 1970s its actually a conglomeration of 2 albums from the 60s by Luther Johnson who was muddy's guitarist. apparently muddy plays on this album (someplace). My guess is muse took what they thought were the best tracks and threw them together with Muddy's name and picture to make more money. still an impressive record but not really a muddy waters album.
Mud plays some slide. He was under contract to the Chess Records label at the time and used the pseudonym *Dirty Rivers* on the jacket for this Muse label recording of his band here.
@@mlwsf you are right. Muse label did the same thing with the Chicken Shack album which is also a Muddy Waters Band album with Mud making a token appearance.
