Hi Anita. It's good to see you. I love your yoga pants. I do yoga and know how expensive they can be so it's great to be able to make them. Your cardigan is coming on great. If it was me I would convince myself that no one will notice the mistake knowing how long it would take me to do again. I am also planning to make the Shelby dress so looking forward to seeing yours. I would love to win the peach colour fabric although blue is more my colour. I have to much blue. I would make a Atelier Jupe Lynn Caftan. Thanks for the give away.
Thank you Jayne! I'm liking your thinking, I'm starting to think that knitting the sleeve again on my cardi is not worth it 😅 I really don't think anyone will notice it. I can't wait to get started on the shelby, I've recently seen a long maxi version 😍 I'm obsessed with maxi dresses. I absolutely love the Lynn Kaftan, I've discovered it from the comments on here, it's one I will have to buy 😀 🥰 xx
Hi lovely to see you again 💖 whenever you can is fine we all get busy with life. Great makes and l would actually suit the peach fabric! I'm just starting the Jennifer Lauren Kinfolk dress version 2 had to lengthen the bodice so will see how this one goes still using cheaper fabric until I get it right but my hubby said version 1 was the best dress l've made to date 😀. Take care and see you whenever don't worry
Oh that's great Brenda, I also have the kinfolk dress pattern, but not made it up yet. What a lovely compliment, from your hubby! 😀 Yayyy for the peach fabric! 🍑 🙌 thanks so much lovely lady 😘 xx
Welcome back Anita, don’t feel bad about not vlogging ,life happens , I love both colour ways of the fabric , I would make a spring dress by Nina Lee also love that pattern 😊
Love your dress. Nice to see you vlogging but you shouldn't put stress on yourself if you're busy with life. It's so kind of you to be helping others in need. Take care x
Hello lovely, it’s so good to see you again 😍 love your makes and your future plans, the teal polka dot fabric is my favourite and I would love to see it as a dress!! Of course I’d love to win one of the fabrics too (you probably know I’d prefer blue but also like the peach) and of course it would be a dress 😂🙈 probably a shirt dress as I love love love to wear these. And your sparkly Rosa cardigan is soooo beautiful 😍 lots of love to you!!!!
Hey there lovely! 🙌💕 aw thank you so much, I am really loving the Rosa cardigan, I will make another straight after this one, when I finally get it finished 😅 I do love a shirt dress, I just haven't made many, I get a bit scared by the collars 😬 You are definitely entered for the blue 💙 👗 Sending you love!!! ❤
Hi there Anita, yay.... you're back! Don't ever feel the need to apologise for taking time out - jeez - I don't know how vloggers manage to fit vlogging into their already busy lives. Your friends are very lucky to have you on their 'team' - hardly anyone escapes getting through life without experiencing a mental health issue at some point in their lives, and when life gets tough it's essential to have kind, supportive people around you - I'm sure your friends thank their lucky stars to have you as a friend, they're very lucky indeed. Yoga has proved so beneficial to me in that respect - I can't imagine what kind of person I'd be without it now - but I don't need to tell you that, do I 😊 I'm really glad that you settled on the right leggings pattern for you - they look identical to the 5 out of 4 Ninja leggings pattern and like you say that diamond gusset is so essential for yoga (you don't need any disasters in that area on your mat ....😲... 😳... 😂) So onto your fabric give away - if I was lucky enough to win a piece, then I think I would make up my favourite pattern of the moment, which is a Taika Blouse Dress by Named www.namedclothing.com/products/taika-blouse-dress I've made one already and I absolutely love the pattern (though I've had to work quite hard on the fit including adding some shirring at the back). Wishing luck to everyone that enters and hoping that I may be lucky too ☺. Happy sewing 🧵😊🧵
Thanks so much Dee! 😍💕 I completely agree with you - yoga has kept me sane on so many occasions, I started it originally to help with my depression and I've needed it more than once or twice. I don't know what I'd do without it ❤ I never underestimate it's power and magic. Lol, I have witnessed torn yoga trousers in others 🙈 I'm glad to say, it's never happened to me 🤸♀️👍🏻 Aww the pattern you have chosen is spot on! It's beautiful, I love the dress version, I'm tempted to buy this for myself 🙌😄 Always love to read your comments - thank you for sticking with me 💜💜
Hi, love your video’s, I would make the Atelier Jupe Charlotte dress, I would like the blue as blue suits me better, but the peachy colour would also make a lovely dress.Denise 👗
Lovely to see you again! What a pretty dress. I've struggled to keep up with vlogging too - life gets super busy. Glad to hear your taking care of your friends, just remember to take care of yourself too. It can be difficult to remember, but so important to stave off burn out.
Thank you so much Zakiya, it has been tough, I've struggled with keeping my spirits up and sleeping is difficult. I very much take on what others are feeling, but I'm trying to get on with my sewing and disconnect for a few hours each day. Thank you for your kind supportive words 💖 🙏xx
Glad you’re taking time out when you feel you need to. I’m sure lots of vloggers put too much pressure on themselves. We’ll still be here when you’re ready. I fancy making aTATB Lyra dress in the blue (or either 😉) fabric 😊
Thank you so much! I know I definitely feel guilty, it's a tough one for me 🙈 Oooh loving your idea, I've wanted to make the Lyra for ages. I think a blue Lyra would be beautiful 😍 👗xx
Lovely to see your vlog. I think both of the fabrics are pretty, how generous of you to offer a giveaway! I think a skirt and top, perhaps the SOI ruby skirt and the Sorbetto top would be lovely- can be worn as a dress/ co ord set or as separates for maximum use!
Great to see all the things you have been up to. If I won the fabric I would make Helen's closet Reynolds dress or tessuti patterns Lois dress, my 2 favourite summer dresses.
hi Anita congratulations! i would do the Lotta dress by tilly and the buttons, or a lynn kaftan by Atelier jupe, i wouldnt mind either shade of fabric.
I've just checked out the Lynn kaftan, oh my days, I love it ❤ this is one I have to buy, I've been looking for a flattering kaftan pattern - beautiful xx
Welcome back lovely makes love the blue but would be happy with either I would make the Asha dress by style arc or the myosotis by deer and doe I’ve just made the rhea dress and had to size down loads happy sewing x
Thanks so much! Oh great pattern ideas, I haven't got either of these patterns, so temped by the myosotis dress 😀💕 Oh I've had to take the Rhea dress in twice, it comes up much larger than I realised, I should have checked some reviews 😅 xx
Well I watched and I would love to make something with the fabric. The Kinjarling dress by Waves & Wild or the Wildwood dress from Sew House Seven or maybe the Reeta dress by Named. I will say though that I do have a lot of fabric already and I'm sure there are more deserving viewers who would love the fabric. Thank you for the tip about the diamond gusset piece for yoga pants. I'm just starting my yoga journey. Check out or reach out to both Rachel @stitched up and Cara @sosewmad who both have made running bottoms and so purchase the material required to see where they get theirs from
Ah I've checked out all your ideas for dresses, how come I've never seen these beautiful patterns before 😅 too many gorgeous things to make lol. Loving the Reeta dress by Named, the Wildwood also, oh gosh, how will I squeeze them all in. I will enter you in for the fabric 🙌 we can never have too much.
