- Scott successfully commissioned a flexible palletising system that accommodated 10 different carton sizes from multiple production lines over 3 shifts.
The system features two KUKA KR120 Robots complete with vacuum grippers to palletise a range of carton sizes to 1 of the 12 pallet locations (6 per robot). A central dual shuttle car automatically removed completed pallets and delivered empty pallets and slip sheets from the pallet and slip sheet dispensers. The dual infeed system featured an automated box flipping system as some cartons were packed upside down and also included the integration of the bar code scanner to detect the carton type and palletising location.
