DR Congo participated in 1974 as Zaire Zaire changed its name in 1998 to DR Congo The country is the same, but with a different name DR Congo was Zaire in the past, and before was Congo-Kinshasa, Congo-Leopoldville, Belgian Congo.
Suriname have quite some talent as a lot of other people are saying a lot of them play in the dutch league and I would like to point out that virgil van Dijk was born in suriname
Love the video but would’ve been better, and slightly more realistic, if this simulated WC adhered to the real life confederation allocations: 4 or 5 Asia, 5 Africa, 3 or 4 CONCACAF, 4 or 5 South America, 0 or 1 Oceania, and 13 Europe. Also nations that are on the come up like Mali and Vietnam would’ve been interesting to see in this.
A World Cup sim with the top 32 ranked nations. Play the World Cup and whoever wins is removed from the sim and replaced with 33rd, 34th etc. and have a WC with the remaining 32 nations not to win

as a kenyan i am even surprised kenya qualified anywhere past group stages lol
Thanks for putting Singapore in the world cup. Might be the only time we actually played in it
Honestly there should be an NIT type World Cup in Switzerland (picked cause FIFA is based there) 6 months after the actual World Cup.
DR Congo participated in 1974 as Zaire
Zaire changed its name in 1998 to DR Congo
The country is the same, but with a different name
DR Congo was Zaire in the past, and before was Congo-Kinshasa, Congo-Leopoldville, Belgian Congo.
How the hell he didn't included India with 1.4 billion people
cuz India did qualify for the World Cup in 1950. AIFF decided not to participate.
Even in a fictitious world cup of teams who've never qualified, Lebanon still doesn't make it 😂
Guatemala actually got disqualified for corruption of his federation around 5/6 years ago.
im in suriname rn so it made me really happy they won
This is actually a great idea. We'd call it 'The Losers' World Cup'.
Suriname have quite some talent as a lot of other people are saying a lot of them play in the dutch league and I would like to point out that virgil van Dijk was born in suriname
I was so hyped to see Guatemala make it out of the groups sadly they got knocked out by Finland but still.
Where are Uzbekistan, Kazakhstan, Belarus, Oman etc?
Finland have qualified before
I instantly Think “Finland walk through” and “Pukki golden booth”
Puerto Rico never qualify 😭
I'm surprised Uzbekistan was not included here. They have had some good teams in years past, but have had some awful luck in qualifying for the WC.
Video idea: what if every premier league club had the same owner
Love your World Cup series mate!
Quite a few of these would be qualifying in 2026 as the tournament would be expanded to 48 teams
The Europa League of International futbol would be dope!!!
Would this even be possible? Given the fact that some of the players in these National teams would be have their club team obligations
malaysia: yessss our dream is come true
I think that in the upcoming 2 world cups Finland may have a chance of qualafying, but I don't know. What do you guys think?
