Except with any traditional burial in the US, it'll be centuries before your bodies "go back to the earth". There's too foreign crap in most caskets and added to your body that won't break down for years if they break down at all. That crypt is more likely to shut down from unpaid rent or something and the bodies cremated for removal than you decaying in a graveyard in the next 100 years.
In my country they are for poor people, I also live in LATAM, the government can give you a niche, but if you have enough money, you are buried in the ground, it's only natural to go back to mother Earth
