On another note, did I hear correctly that you had a motorbike at age 16? Miss Angela, you do surprise me! I love it! My boyfriend (now husband) had one when I was 16 and we used to love riding through the mountains, although I never had the courage to drive it myself. Now some 40+ years later, we still enjoy mountain riding but from the comfort of our SUV. Good memories though! Thanks for the great idea for our SG journal cover and best, as always! 💐 Cyn

He was a year older and he had a bigger bike, so we did the same. It was fun times. My son had a bike from 16 until and I enjoyed a ride or two on his bikes as he upgraded them. I love this journal cover you made. It's so innovative. You mentioned you gave Abby a bath today. It'sa coincidence but I gave my medium sized dog a bath yesterday. My husbanc was the one who woke him up and nudged him along until I could trap him in the bathroom. He's old and grumpy and grumbled at me the whole time using his idea of human words. I could definitely could tell he wasn't happy at all. I tried drying him off but he was too impatient for much of a good dry. He got the door open and went into our bedroom, a place we never let dogs in due to both our allergies. I tried to lead him out but I took his collar off before the bath and I had nowhere to grab him. He showed his disgust about the whole thing by rubbing himself along the covers overhanging the top of the bed all over my husband's side of the bed, before I could usher him out of our room. He loves to jump in a lake or a slough but hates a nice warm bath.
Oh Sue! I feel for you. That is the way they communicate with us, isn't it. My Abbi makes her distaste know by sulking or doing her business in the house, just to annoy me. She did a number 1 on my sofa cushion! I was horrified. All because I missed her walk that day. She wanted to make it quite clear to me that she was not happy! I wasn't either! Sending hugs xxx

Well..... I am finally back to a point that I can sit and craft without too much discomfort!! I managed to finish off another project today. That has cleared the decks a little, so now I am finally making the cover for the Secret Garden journal. Just waiting on the glue to dry properly before I stick the fabric on. As it is late in the day..... I have decided to give the basic cover time for the glue to dry overnight. I will then get a start on it again in the morning. It's such a good feeling to be able to sit and craft for a lot longer. I am still watching what I do .... but compared to what it WAS like..... my back is heaps better!!!
