This was actually a mistake! I ordered the ASUS ROG Strix Impact iii wired mouse, and on amazon the listing was about £2 or £3 more expensive than elsewhere, but I though at least with Amazon it is easy to return if I don't like it.
The much more expensive ASUS ROG Strix Impact 3 wireless actually arrived and it seems that it isn't a misprice as they still have the crazy price listed (Amazon UK)
I am actually very happy with the mistake, this is an excellent mouse and with the swappable switches if i get bored of it i can swap in some different switches for a new feel.
The ROG Aimpoint sensor is a joy to use and seems to be a custom version of the Pixart PMW 3399 sensor and has up to 36000 DPI which is insane! And a battery life of around a month under heavy use and a few months with lighter use.
Overall I am extremely pleased with this mouse, it is accurate, lightweight and built like a tank so it should last a very long time.
You might need a new mouse mat now - go buy a new one!

Thank you! A very detailed video! I finally get my answer for the mice is rechargeable or not, that drives me to getting the wired one(I’m too lazy to replace the batteries lol).
seriously the batteries last ages, i changed mine out of boredom after almost 2 months and it was still showing 100%
Great review but I have to make an observation, the armory crate software is not great to check on the battery level (and not great overall). I have a rog chakram but It only works in 25% increments. So its never gonna tell you something like 86%, or 77%, only 100, 75, 50 or 25. If the battery dies and you plug it in it immediately goes to 25
ah interesting i will have to look out for that, although i got a bargain on the wired version and have swapped over to that as it is a little but bigger and a better shape for my hand

Not sure if this idea is a current tech, but why don’t they make it a mouse pad to mouse charger? I was sure “some other company” made some sort of wireless solution to charge stuff. 😊

Use wireless as pc in living room. Read batteries didnt last so got rechargeable! Down side is i am constantly recharging and its micro usb sadly. You have changed my view as not only a host of features in software & options to upgrade but the longevity battery life is excellent. Can the software be used on msi mb? My jelly comb mouse is starting to have issues with forward side button so interesting review. Thanks Mike and Kath 🐈👍
yes it can be used on any platform, and the battery life is nuts! i use this thing for about 10-12 hours a day, and almost a month in and the battery is still reading 100%

the bluetooth is optional, and the batteries last for ages, mine is over a month old now and still 100%
@@mikesunboxing i understand and its good for people who prefer that. but for me i would stay away from bluetooth devices. so i prefer device without bluetooth or just wired
