This guy most definitely doesn't speak for black people. He doesn't have the brain to. He needs to truly do some real research. He needs to research some of the poor states run by Republicans. SMH. I guess in order to make a statement, although the biggest statement would be exactly what you asked for, "not voting" would dismantle this facade that we have a democracy, yet this is quite difficult many of those who vote they do it in order to preserve their power and privileges, and those who don't have anythig to gain in personal means are just carried away like hooligans, with propaganda, so they go vote thinking that they live in a democracy.

Every election year I go and stand in line at the ballot box like everybody else. And when it’s my turn to vote, I write myself in. It’s laughable to think that any politician or president will make your life better. The only person that can do that is YOU!

He sounds like he most rational Trump supporter I've ever heard.... that being said, I do believe that he's missing a lot of important pieces of information that would tip him towards a non-rfk third party view... that being said his seemingly loyal views towards Trump are a major roadblock. I sensed that his views were also more anti-dnc and less pro-trump, but it's like he's fawning over Trump a bit... quite frankly like a woman abused by a man but defending her abuser... his points about the DNC are in alignment with mine, but he's misguided by the fawning over Trump and the harmful capitalistic notions of both RFK and libertarian party philosophy.
He's just a couple of years younger than me, and when I was in college I was mislead towards Ron Paul for the 2008 election by classmates and didn't start digging into what's going on with our system. Up until 2016, I just voted based on those whom I confided in at the time, before getting the facts.
Given all of that he doesn't acknowledge that Trump is the establishment and that libertarian party philosophy only serves to make the lives of every marginalized identity suffer at the hands of the rich. Capitalism is intertwined with the ness and Trump's plan puts it on steroids. I'm not trying to "whitesplain" him as I am a member of the LGBTQIA community and from my own experiences in our system, I can safely say that libertarian party philosophy takes us in the opposite direction of where we need things to go economically.
The interconnectedness of the issues must be not only acknowledged, but addressed.
If only he would listen to Dr Stein, Dr West, and Claudia De-La-Cruz from your earlier video when they were at the DNC... he might have picked up on more things and recognized potential errors in his reasoning.

Ron Paul genuinely and completely left the Republican party at that time in 2008. You only have to look at his public endorsements.
No, he stayed in the Republican party, but he was really a libertarian (small 'L' libertarian, which basically means that he didn't belong to the Libertarian party), and he did run as an independent (or libertarian, I forget which) and was not elected, so he ended up going back to the Republican party, even though he hated the establishment Republicans that were so corrupt (just like the establishment Democratic machine). He used to call out both parties on a regular basis, but I follow him on X and he is much less critical of Trump, because Trump is an outsider, and the establishment from both major corrupt parties HATE Donald Trump. I'm not saying he's right, and I respect my friends' opinions who are voting 3rd party (Jill Stein, or others), and some are writing in someone else, just to take a political stand against genoc^de or other issues that are most important to them. I'd vote third-party if we had a different electoral system (e.g. ranked-choice voting), but I will never vote for a non-viable candidate, unless I really don't care between the viable candidates.
I have massive issues with Kamala, but I trust her way more than Trump on issues like climate change, abortion, Supreme Court justices... and even on economic & foreign policy - while she won't make needed changes on those fronts, she at least wouldn't move things in reverse.
