As someone who is not only a survivor of sexual trauma and harassment, but also of prolonged sexual abuse from my ex boyfriend, this hit home for me. I love Chan dearly and this made my heart so warm like I wanted to yell and scream but I couldn't for so long and this video helped give me a voice so thank you to the moon and back
As an assault victim I can honestly say this video itself is a form of healing. Thank you.... I'm sure Channie is Proud.... It in many ways describes his demeanor in a loving friend way.
This is why I want to become friends with Straykids, they’re all so kind and ready to listen and help. I always have things that bother me but I can’t tell anybody about it, i feel like they’re the type of people that you would tell. Like I still wouldn’t say everything because there’s somethings I prob still couldn’t say but I definitely would say a lot of things. Thank you for making this, it truly comforted me a little
This was really helpful for me as I'm struggling with my trauma. I suffered from a different type of trauma to the one discussed in here (I'm a survivor of domestic abuse (which is basically any form of abuse from a family member)), but I felt myself relating to a lot of the conversations because my abuser was someone I loved and trusted and respected.
I'm glad it was helpful. Abuse is abuse and a lot of the patterns and feelings experienced as a result are similar no matter what type it is. I'm so sorry you were let down by someone who should have cared about you, wish you health, happiness and recovery 💜💜💜
@@taky1329 unfortunately for me recovery is hard because the people around me try to gaslight me into thinking that I don't have trauma and that I don't have PTSD... I can very much vouch for the fact that I have trauma and have PTSD... This is the reason I have a hard time trusting people... I just think that they'll gaslight me on everything (before anyone comes at me, yes I know gaslighting can be a form of trauma for some people... I'm yet to work out whether it's a trauma or not for me)

I would have never thought that these 8 men would be my reason to happiness but here we are There own journeys are an inspiration for us stays to keep going If there is one dead end then there are 10 more streets waiting for you to start your journey through them This video was very comforting I have thankfully not been a victim of any sort of abuse but i can relate to the feeling of not being able to talk to anyone about your problems due to the fear that people will disregard them It doesn't matter how important the matter is to you but it will never be important to someone who doesn't care about you It could mean the world to you but it would be NOTHING absolutely NOTHING to them You just have to be careful about the people around you Don't be afraid to ask for help and be safe And lastly, Don't just keep wishing there are more great people in the world like Channie Be like him. Be the great person you are searching for to someone else aswell ❤
As a victim myself, I dont have many people in my life who know or would comfort me and just like you said, I feel stained. But this is really comforting

I know this video has been out for a while but I just wanted to thank you for making this. I dealt with an incident more recently and it’s just so much for me to handle. I feel like I can’t say a word about it or give any hint at all about what happened. It’s just such a painful experience. This video is definitely a nice silent way of getting comfort, it has certain phrases in it that comforted me a lot that I now think of when I get bad memories from what happened, I just feel so guilty and ashamed and I just keep blaming myself for everything that happened. Just thank you so much for making this video, you’re truly an amazing person.

Today it will be 23 years since it happened. But I still remember it like yesterday. I was 16, and thought I could trust my friends stepdad. I am mostly healed by it, but it still affects my relationships. At least at first, and also when I am around older men.
