Front Row Motorsports is one of those teams that leave you in awe and excited for their future even if you don't root for them. It's just amazing to see.
Three very powerful FRM cars working together on the superspeedways could be a force to contend with. From start and park to the actual front row, man what a story!
@@Ex0dus24 I know, I was making a remark about how they're only now becoming "Front Row" Motorsports, they've been growing since before the Next Gen era
I've been watching FRM since their early days when David (Todd's Dad) Gilliland drove for them. The transition to a competitive team has been slow and steady. No lack of determination or direction there. I think 2025 will be a good year for them.
Can't imagine Zane doesn't get that seat. Zane Smith is goated and I hope he's in the 38 since it was his truck number. FRM already has it in Cup, they have it in Trucks, and 34+4=38 so it makes sense.
I am an "old school" NASCAR fan (I am over 50 yrs old), so I really want to see the Wood Brothers do well with Josh Berry. I have also been pulling for FRM for a long time. I like underdogs. I also like Michael McDowell a lot so that endeared me to FRM (sad to see him leave the Blue Oval.) I am excited to see what they are able to do in 2025. TG made huge strides in 2024. Let's hope he continues that trend. Gragson has tons of potential as well. I certainly hope Zane returns to FRM. Talented driver. He impressed me driving for JRM and when he filled in for Chris Buescher in 2022. I enjoy your videos, Eric. Happy New Year to you!
I can see Front Row having 4 cars in 2027 with Riggs in that 4th car people will say Chandler Smith but even though Smith is a better driver Riggs brings more sponsorship business sometimes has to come first
Happy New Year Bud. Hope you have a great evening and a great New Year to come. Look forward to seeing more of your work in 25. That's what this is from steve demello jr
He's definitely gonna be in the 4. He's been posting hints on Instagram. Like he posted a reel of a golf ball with his NG logo on it and then turned it over to show it had #4 on the other side.
34 - 36 - 38. They've been running the 34 and 38 forever, they're still using the 38 (and 34) in trucks. It honestly makes the most sense to keep those two numbers, and they've been using the 36 as their third for a while; it just makes sense to make it an official third car.
I think they are open to renumbering and aren't as concerned with continuity between trucks and cup. A lot of those decisions come from sponsor input as well. Example, if Noah does bring Rush Truck Centers with him, they may chose to be associated with the number 14 not the 4, 36, or 38. I am hoping that FRM goes with 4, 14, & 34.
#4 Gragson #34 Gilliland #38 Smith I can see Front Row going 4 full-times cars in 2027 I want to see how Riggs develops I believe Riggs has a good future
Layne Riggs has “SuperStar" potential…….along with his Dad’s experience/knowledge he will be patient, as he continues to learn….. good luck Layne AND…… THANK YOU ERIC for all of your hard work. It’s starting to "get good" …looking forward to 2025
I think the 3rd car will be Zane Smith about 90%. The main reason I have a little bit of a doubt is because Chris Larson became Todd Gilliland’s crew chief. Smith & Larson combo had 6 Wins, 24 Top 5s, 29 Top10s & a championship in 2 seasons (46 Races). And if not for some issues they would have had a few more wins easily. That’s the only reason I have some doubts about Zane getting the 3rd car. With the success they had together, why not reunite them in cup. If it is Zane that gets the ride, I’m thinking he gets the 38. Keep his number from trucks with FRM first championship.
The one thing I will say about front row Motorsports they've been around quite a while so I think base just on that they have the best chance to break out of the midpack area
Now they just need to tap on a third driver. I think it will be Zane Smith. Gragson, Gilliland, and Zane Smith as FRM’s cup roster? That team could be a PERENNIAL contender.
Hey Eric from out of the groove where did they put mcclaskey adult center on the number 78 DJ McLeod racing car or the front row number 34 car Rob anybody & Dawn game trader on Sacramento🎉
My opinion we should allow up to 80 cars for the big tracks including Indy, we should allow start and park operations and at short tracks allow 40 plus field size 60 maximum. As that is the field size iRacing allows us to have. So we should do 60 in real life. Maybe the 20 extra cars could allow new manufactures and new teams and new sponsors into the sport.
I think FRM will be good because they are alliances with Penske if you think it SHR was alliances with Penske when they made the switch from Chevy to ford. Now Haas is now alliances with RFK so now FRM is the only team to be alliances with Penske. So I think it's possible to see more wins and maybe a championship in the near future. As far as Wood Brothers they are basically a 4th Penske car
I get the enthusiasm I hope FRM does have a good year but I need to see some wins...SHR wasn't exactly setting the world on fire past couple seasons probably have the most optmism for Smith of the 3 I do wonder with where the charters are going SHR had a bit of a rub with Nascar as well.
SHR charters went to 35 23XI 41 Haas Factory Team 88 Trackhouse 38? Front Row I think FRM will improve some in 2025. They became Ford tier 1 in 2024. But Freeze said that it was taking some some time to hire the engineers and personal needed to be tier 1 and use all the resources available. And 2025 now they starting the season as tier 1 with personal and resources in place
I’m yet to be sold FRM as a quality team. They are not aggressive enough in their talent acquisition and retention to convince me they have the right people.
I am keeping my eye on Front Row especially the trucks teams I think they are making a mistake with Gragson though but time will tell on that and I am still a Tyler Reddick fan as well I would like to see him in one of those Front Row cars I do not think they will be a title contender this season but I see them as a lower top tier team with the exception of Gragson but that is my opinion
I think these would be the numbers as well, they always ran those numbers, I don't expect them to change the numbers anytime soon even with them buying Hass's charter
I have to disagree. My eye is on Spire as the breakout team next year. FRM is set for the future but is too inexperienced right now in my opinion. Where as Spire has some experience with McDowell and Haley, has a major talent in Hocevar, and appears to be building a closer partnership with HMS.
In my humble opinion, seeing the same "teams" constantly dominating any sport makes it less enjoyable to watch. It's great to see other up and coming teams winning. To me. It makes it more exciting to watch. Happy New Year ✌️ ❤️
Why would FRM change their numbers they have always used 34.36, and 38 they shouldn’t change the change it would be weird seeing them not in those numbers
NASCAR's losing and they know it. The courts need to backhand them for real. After it doesn't get appealed I expect NASCAR to fold to keep their pocket book closed.
I feel like Trackhouse screwed Zane over with a dirty "talent withholding" tactic. I'm not even sure it's been a thing before, but they for sure did it to Zane.
Wasn't the Todd over Zane pick not so much FRM's decision but Zane making a deal with TH first? Seems like FRM didn't have an option, but now has a pretty strong lineup!

@ Yeah, I didn’t ask for that reply but whatever.
Todd is going into year 4, not year 3. Of course in year 2 he did lose a half dozen rides to those Zane Smith starts.
4 30 and 34 would be cool
"I'm not suggesting they'll be there RIGHT AWAY, come Daytona in February."
Watch Todd Gilliland win the Daytona 500.
Three car's per team if they can afford it. No charters.😅
I'm not sure it will be all that long before FRM is all that far away from a championship.
Maybe to get rid of later? Dont blame em.
YESSSSS
Out of left field Front Row fields the 57
Front row gonna be scary the next few year's
So less competitors, more money for less owners.
Zane Smith plz
Surely 34, 36, 38.

Either that, or 34, 14, 4. I think 34, 38, 4 isn't bad, but not as good as the alternatives.
If nascar wins the appeal, and if Front Row has to sell their charter back to nascar... how much would they get for it?
4,14,34? What?
38,36,34 or 4,36/38,34 seems more likely
