- This record never got released. It was going to be around 2000/2001 but their label went bankrupt or something like that.
Many thanks to Jacob for seding this one since it was impossible to find!
If you like late 90s, early 2000s post grunge then this is for you.
It reminds me of a little known band called Dust for Life.
Track number 5 'Dim Memory' appeared on the Eight Legged Freaks movie.

Nice! You went through with it!
Yeah...another win right here. That bass sounds heavy as fuck too!
Want to also say this album was recorded using Alice in Chains equipment and was recorded and mixed by Pearl Jam’s producer. Was recorded in Seattle in the year 2000, the last two songs on this album were ones they were recording for a second album but two of the members left the band and with the label losing distribution rights they never got off the ground, damn shame

Qué bien suena!
When I watched Eight Legged Freaks as a kid i had always wondered where that song came from towards the beginning when Chris shows up. When I actually searched them up a couple years ago they only had Dim Memory uploaded and i believe another song off the album that was featured on a show. The lead singer of the band, Sean Cannon, was the one that sent me each song, super cool guy, also have some other stand alone songs he did from other bands
The guitars solos badass!
I enjoyed listening to this album, I watched Eight legged freaks a few times so I've definitely heard Dim Memory though I only heard bits of it. I would like to get this album whether digitally or physically.
This is what I’m talking about 🤘
That good crunchy, post - grunge sound that still retains the grunge vibe in some ways whilst having a heavier edge. Love it! Way better than the overproduced one.
👌
🤘😈
According to Discogs, this album was supposed to be released through Time Bomb Recordings, a label which is known for releasing albums by alt rockers Social Distortion. The label was active until 2019 but hasn’t released any new physical releases since 2007 after the release of Social Distortion’s greatest hits album. So, I’m going to assume that it kind of went the way like Exit Highland by Rumblefish and Image Damage by Animal Bag ended up: getting shelved by the label due to distribution issues and the band’s dissolution.
That Animal Bag record is really good! I'll try to upload it for those who never heard of them.
@@MelomanoAdictoIt’s probably my favorite release by Animal Bag. It sadly got shelved because of complications between the band and the label (most of the staff who had worked on Animal Bag’s first two releases left the label). Here’s a link to the playlist of the album by UA-cam channel HydrogenMist (he uploads a FUCK ton of rare ass bangers): music.ua-cam.com/play/PLV98qiR3gDfyrGQFS7KrlIBk3E80GJ7fd.html&si=wj07LnMXx3JipFbs
@@MelomanoAdictoAnd what’s worse is the album was produced by Terry Date. And, we all know that if an album is produced by Terry Date, it’s bound to be a fucking banger.
Where are these guys from? Great sound!
Album was recorded in Seattle thats where they were all from at the time
It had that feel. Birthplace of Grunge.
