Has Ukraine shot down a Russian drone with the UK’s new Martlet missile?
Вставка
- Опубліковано 9 чер 2024
- Footage has emerged of Ukrainian troops celebrating after apparently shooting down a Russian drone with, what was described as, the STARStreak missile system sent to the country by the UK.
The launcher that appears in the footage is indeed from a STARStreak system, but the missile, it appears, is not.
After a closer look, it appears the missile is the British Martlet, a weapon being tested by UK troops that is yet to be fully deployed by the UK Armed Forces.
Simon Newton reports.

Either German troops in combat missions in the Baltic States or total embargo and delivery of heavy weapons? Germany must switch sides!
In fact, we support Putin and not Ukraine, because the German war contribution is balanced on the wrong side: EU military aid amounted to around 1.5 billion euros up to April 13, 2022 (source: Tagesschau), a dab or two would probably have to be added, but according to the EU foreign policy representative Borrell, there are around 35 billion euros for energy supplies to Russia (until April 6th, 2022) (source: Tagesschau).
Should Putin's "Easter Offensive" succeed, he will pursue his broader goals, after which the tearful Habeck will explain that while he didn't want to inflict a cold winter on the Germans, he is now forced to send German troops to fight Putin in the Baltics , to advocate?
Either we can prevent Putin's victory already in Ukraine, or we may have to fight ourselves!
The most important building blocks for a victory over Putin are currently a Tatal embargo (including gas, oil, coal, aluminum, steel, etc.) and the delivery of heavy weapons to Ukraine.
