Nice fire team
Fantastic catches!
Thanks!
Awesome catches!
Thank you!
Very cool! Not so easy to be in the right place to catch one of Seattle massive fire responses! :D Gonna be back on your turf very soon man!
Thanks! When are you going to be up here again?
lucaslaughing On the 18th I believe.
Great catches man! I'm really hoping i can get up to Seattle sometime soon to catch come videos.
Thanks - you should totally come visit Seattle, it's beautiful here! Anytime between July 5th and mid-September and you should have gorgeous weather.
SFD rather uses TDA's (tractor drawn aerials) then tower ladders with or without a bucket. They like them for the mobility and maneuverability for the sake of our hills and tight street corners.
Awesome catch and video!
Thanks Sam!
Sweet video man!
Thank you!
Great catch!
Thank you!
Why have a federal if you aren't going to use them??
LOL
if you have a spectra, you dont really need it. just ask the LAFD...thats mostly what they use, and they also have the q, and they just got whelens, and they wired them to sound like spectras.
Tyler Alvarado, it sounds like a Federal Signal Unitrol Touchmaster, not Spectras
they dont have real Q2B's, its just a cover over the 200 watt siren for looks.
@@EVModules Thats 100% a Motorola Spectra
Video taping is not good..... Too much shaking and the focus wasn't much better......... Need more time to get it right........
Good catch !
Thanks!
Superb video. One of your best catches.
Any more video from the scene?
Thanks Starcraftguy! I uploaded video from the scene in my 'Air 9 arriving' vid: ua-cam.com/video/d0fSjOwGz7k/v-deo.html
Thanks.
I was aware that Pierce offered a tandem axle tractor option on tiller trucks. This is the first I've seen one in action. Hope both axles are powered, as they would be great with chains in snow and ice conditions. They look macho!
Yeah, they look pretty rad. I'm not sure if the axles are powered or not; we rarely get snow here, but we have a *lot* of hills so it gets pretty bad when it does snow.
You'll find most newer tillers in WA state are tandem axle. and if they're not, they're definitely overweight big time.
i live in gold bar about thirty minutes away from seattle and they lay on the q like it owes em money
nate Lol nice
What, no Q? :(
it was a Balanced Assignment later on someone Took Command of The Boat Fire
Isn't that the siren that the LAFD used
Yes
WOW 3 TILLER LADDERS
Yeah! Seattle has upgraded almost all of their trucks to tillers, so there are a good number of them at large incidents.
Great catches! I'm planning on being up in Seattle in early December (The Pass permitting lol) staying close to Station 17. How busy would you say that station is and which side do the main bay doors face? NE 50th St or 11th Ave NE?
Nice - Station 17 covers UW, so it seems to be one of the busier stations. The main apparatus doors face 11th Ave NE, which is a one way street, so they'll turn all the intersection lights red if they need to head southbound from the station. The bay facing NE 50th houses the medic unit, and I believe the battalion chief (M16 and B6).
I'm an idiot, I meant to reply back to this a long time ago, I apologize. Thank you for the info! This will definitely come in handy when I go!
No worries - hope you have a great trip (in a few months)
A little further info, since I live pretty close to 17's. The best vantage point is from/near the bus stop on 11th Ave NE, across the street from the station. This gives you a side view for when either M16 or B6 respond through their bay doors on 50th (which are two fold bay doors that retract outward when opened), and a great view of the front of E17 and L9's bay doors. Responses to the south of 17 (against traffic) are more frequent and easier to catch. Hope you enjoy your trip here!
Sam Campbell Thank you so much for this info, this really helps!
5 s has a 2008 e one since they have had it I've never heard their q
I definitely have heard that E5 2008 E-One Quest engine use its q before.
Awesome!
Thank you!
true
That was the money shot!
Lol, thanks!
Good Video Nice 😊
Thanks Efe Guner!
USE THE Q!!! lol
LMAO. Btw Seattle Don't use real Q. Only EQ2B
At least 12K going to waste.
Ok, I'll bite ... how is 12k going to waste?
Six Federal Qs at about 2K a piece not being used,
