- The Corvette is back and has a new V8 drift engine! With a few delays (due to parts not coming in time) our 600bhp C6 Corvette build drift car is ready to have the LS3 upgraded and rebuilt. The Corvette came with an LS3, but in order to get 600bhp from the V8, we have had to upgrade quite a bit. The master of V8 Bob Stevens at Motorsport Fifty6 was on hand to install the parts, rebuild the LS3 and fit the Link ECU system that will act as the brain of the car. We couldn't be happier with how it turned out, now all you guys have to do is guess the power it will make?!

@@georgegoodwin8038 watching kristaps got me into drifting and circuit racing was the first sport i did carbon is out of range for now but any hgk likeness is loved so fibreglass and homemade parts and a budget engine swap for the n54 engine problems ls with dogbox and develop as much as possible
first finally actual positive progress this is soo very satisfying and any parts, maintenence advice or tips bob can recommend to keep a bone stock ls reliable for drifting

Great update on the corvette! If your going to stay wet sump get an accusump along with it. It’s a far cheaper alternative than a very expensive dry sump and it’s a great way to still maintain oil pressure especially when it comes to drifting. The conversation with the cow had me dead btw😂😂
Bob reckons it’s overkill with the setup we are running and I guess he is the expert, so we trust him
Love the build. Hope it drives as good or better than the mustang. Should tell us the difference in weight between the two when done. Good luck this year.
