I purchased the foundation in 6.5N. I wasn't sure how the foundation would perform on my oily skin, but it is an outstanding product. It feels light on your skin which is nice in warmer weather. It held back my oil for quite a few hours in combination with my usual mattifying primers. After a long day at work, it does not fade, separate or melt. It is a stunning foundation at a very affordable price.

The entire Backstage collection was created without mirrors, because it is to really emulate how the artists who work backstage of Dior fashion shows, have everything open and can see everything through the packaging - hence why no mirrors lol! Even for all the Dior lippies! You can take the lid off, place it upside down on the table and place the lip product inside/on top of the lid for it to be showcased like how they do backstage! Lastly, all of Dior Backstage was used for the last royal wedding! So cool! Great collection!
Unfortunately for me I can’t wear cool tone because I’m naturally really tawny in complexion, cool tone eyeshadows rarely show up on my eyes 😭. However, I noticed people who are lighter in complexion can pull off a cool tone look. Warm tones seem to look good on both light and dark complexion.

Wow Tati, I’m actually about 3 weeks ahead of you here! I ordered the whole collection from Sephora France but of course I got the wrong foundation shade 😡. It doesn’t matter too much as I can use it on clients but the quality is so amazing that I want to wear it every day (so I do with loads of bronzer over top 😛). The reason (I think) there’s no mirror is that it’s a MUA aimed pro product and that is also why the lipstick isn’t the most pigmented as it’s for runway or editorial looks. BTW the contour powders make amazing eyeshadow!!!! Try it and see, especially when combined with the glow palette ❤️I agree that the cool toned eye palette is the best, especially as there are sooo many warm toned palettes knocking about right now. Since my moms pancreatic cancer spread through out her body I find so much comfort in watching tati because she resembles my mom when she was younger and the happy times from then. Thank goodness that Tati uploads frequently! Today was SO hard! Our rented limo got into a car accident on our last day of vacation in CA, and I had to go to the ER for a head injury. Afterward, I got cleared to fly home, but now our flight is delayed and I won’t get to hug my babies until after midnight. At least I’ve got my favorite UA-camr to keep me calm and relaxed as I wait for either a plane repair or new plane to arrive.

That little tip I'm going to practice until I hopefully get it right. Just want to one day create an eye look that is actually noticed. The prices are also comparatively lower from their original line too, though still expensive .. 🙈

Marc Jacobs is a higher end brand, not the same as Dior, but if we say the lower end Dior and MJ is on par as an example then which would you go for based on looks? Which would you display on your vanity or dressing table? (Genuine question) I had the same thought with the Natasha Denona eyeshadow palette 5 which Tati “broke” in one of her videos. It looks cheap even in person, as I specifically went to have a look. Here in Australia there’s a $3 difference between ND $69 and MJ $66 but the packaging isn’t even close. Though her bigger palettes are nicer looking. If packaging isn’t an issue and you just love the shadows and the brand, whether it’s Dior or ND or MJ or whatever then it’s irrelevant, as is the price I would imagine.

It looks cheap even in person, as I specifically went to have a look. Here in Australia there’s a $3 difference between ND $69 and MJ $66 but the packaging isn’t even close. Though her bigger palettes are nicer looking. If packaging isn’t an issue and you just love the shadows and the brand, whether it’s Dior or ND or MJ or whatever then it’s irrelevant, as is the price I would imagine.

I initially wasn’t feeling the collection based on the packaging. I felt like the original foundation packaging looks more luxurious in my opinion. BUT, after seeing this video and your swatches OMG I am convinced that I need the foundation, highlight palette, and cool tone palette. 😍😍 love you Tati! 💗
