tbf, Ecclesia kinda needed a buff desperately and Alternium was originally meant to buff underperforming units similar to Rearms. (Yuna was barely banned before Alternium in KR) All the above are still fairly solid performing Awk's, even Yubin who's out of meta since he has a specific niche like ASeo. Ecclesia was basically DoA and even the HIT niche wasn't that spectacular due to how fast she'd die, so there was effectively 0 reason to pick her over every other Defender that performed way better.
yeah, she was one of the people that was theorized to work against dino, but didn't have the survivability and was too easily cancelled if you straight deploy her. Which caused an awkward situation where you basically had to deploy her later on, but then it get's too expensive compared to how fast Dino would charge Ult (plus you can turn her around since dino would also have cost). So Alternium would make her more feasible as a 1st Defender drop now

I honestly hoping the units that should get their ar are either a.yubin, r.king, r.queen or e1. Ecclesia is kinda newer units.
