I got it as Pokemon Red. It's the worst version ever. Less stages, less cutscenes.. I always wondered why we play as pokemon red and a bald little boy is shown in cutscenes. Lol. They shouldn't have pirate it.
The play style itself is so badass, it feels like watching a movie. I reached the final boss only once in my life. On my last life, standed on the elevator for 30 minutes, gathering courage to move forward. Haven't even seen the second phase of it. Never before or after I felt something like that in a video game.
Same here and truth to be told, this is the only video game I managed to 100% clear it compared to island adventure, super mario and others, I played them but I couldn't beat any of them.

Kudos to team who developed this game back in 1992. Just imagine how hardwork they utilised to create this. Every level and music is masterpiece. Considering time when people barely had PCs in home. When there was no game create engine.
Y'know without context the ending is kinda sad, you spend the whole game avoiding those bandages to save your lady friend only for her to force one onto your head, like she dont wanna be seen with some kid with 3 eyes. I know now that it's because he has 2 different personalities, one thats got psychic powers, high inteligence and is quite dangerous and the other is a kind sweet boy.
I agree! But personally if he stops making evil plans about genocide then his girlfriend would felt safe around him. Even i read the manga, i thought he was more like a anti-hero lol In the Astroboy game and Marine Express, he was the villian,too.
