Basically, it's the same as the void flame grenade and the solar wall. It's best if enemies stand still. The void flame does the most damage out of all grenades, but because high health get stunned out of it, it's not useful.
I'm surprised it has no synergy whatsoever with Stasis. Being the first of its kind, I feel it will eventually be powercrept when we get a Strand one, possibly with Hatchling or Slice.

I got SFA and OFA on one of my first drops of this. It's a classic, and cliche, combo, and it absolutely SLAYS for add clear. Better than witherhoard for onslaught, because you can use it with another ridiculous exotic (I used it with graviton and got SO many kills).

I will be a happy 10-year vet when I say this, I did not buy final shape and I'm okay with that. I'll continue to smash heads in Crucible with my old school Loadout and I'll use witherhord just for the shits and kicks and Giggles against anyone who wants to pull that legendary weapon. They are triying to tell me that that's going to be better or slightly replaced with wetherhord. how disrespectful is that.

So are they going to start buffing exotics to make them actually feel exotic now that they have legendary weapons that do the same thing (bow with voltshot/Trinity)?? One single pool from Witherhoard only lasting 4.5 sec is bulls**t
If bungie keeps this up and doesn’t peter out on content quality AND quantity, it will garner A LOT more support from people who will feel like their money is finally well invested for the content being received with no more risk of what we paid for being taken away or.. “vaulted”. If you love the potential this game has please pray to whatever gods of gaming you believe in for bungie that they can maintain passion and focus with leadership who prioritizes the vision and quality of the product rather than quarterly earning reports. 🙏
So I may be very wrong but I think the pools do actually stack...well kind of. While the pools themselves can't stack on the ground, if you spread your shot and a target stands in 2 separate pools they seem to take damage from both. I've been noticing it with Hydras since their hotbox is large enough to stack 2 pools on it, was going to test on some larger enemies too. I've managed to hit both shoulders of a Tormenter with this. Both shoulders end up taking damage, but dunno if that confirms anything.
What about an exotic variant that could switch elements. It would shoot pylons, that would create elemental wells centred on them, let's say with a 6 meters radius, and with a live span of 5 seconds. And make the catalyst do elemental verbs. Jolt for arc, Scorch and the eventual Ignition for solar, Supress for Void, Slow and freeze for stasis and Sever for strand
it should be on it why are Stasis weapons not rolling with chill clip more often, I think this is deliberate by the Dev's to hand cuff stasis as a CC subclass in having more tools for the kit. Update got a new roll Strategist/Demo and my god, "I am the Prince of all Sayian's once again"
soooo i made a titan stasis build using this and salvations grip and i can bassicly freeze everything and cause them to explode while also making diamond lance WHILE ALSO being tanky
You can't compare straight out DPS of The Lost Signal with other legendary GLs because it also does DOT damage so fire it and switch to something else and total DPS will be higher over the period. You can defintely place two pools with one shot, once you get the hang of it it's fairly easy to do.
Really freaking cool, but its disrespectful to Witherhoard to call this the legendary version of it. Witherhoard is way better for adding extra dps to those yellow bars. This not so much and also if the yellow bar moves out of the stasis pool the gun is useless. Direct hits with Witherhoard are so much better than this. Edit: Really clearing those red bars though 👍 looks fun as hell.
*such* a bummer it didn't get Chill Clip. That would've been hilarious even if it needed to get direct impacts to slow, the fact it fires a volley of like 5 shots, and then would pin enemies in the pools.... Missed opportunity.

Strand: If an enemy dies in a pool they create a treadling no mater what. (teammates will love that I'm sure.)
Arc: will sometimes chain lighting to nearby enemies.
A more interesting one would be that it refreshes blind timers. Meaning if someone flash nades, you could keep the target perma blinded.
One important thing you missed is that it gives a TON of transcendence energy
I haven’t been through a single campaign without witherhoard SINCE it came out. Only problem was it took the exotic slot. The only problem with lost signal is I can’t use my KHOSTOV which is my fav
Am I the only one being driven crazy by the lack of data-dunking in the background gameplay on a bunch of these videos? Is this some kind of 1000 gamer IQ move that I'm not aware of? I FEEL LIKE I'M TAKING CRAZY PILLS.
'Why is it stasis?' You may ask? That's because if it was a light element it would be either solar or void and then it would just always be ran with Witherhoard/Lost Signal/Avalanche or Witherhoard/Lost Signal/Hammerhead. Maybe Lost Signal/ Fighting Lion/ Recurring Impact?
I got SFA and OFA on one of my first drops of this. It's a classic, and cliche, combo, and it absolutely SLAYS for add clear. Better than witherhoard for onslaught, because you can use it with another ridiculous exotic (I used it with graviton and got SO many kills).
Bungees so desperate that they made a legendary witherhord? :-/ So they're trying to take a shit on witherhord. Just to get people to continue buying this expansion.
I have 1 which is exactly what I was gonna build (lead from gold/all for one), sweet. Im still gonna build 1 but I think im gonna go auto loading/unrelenting for a strictly support weapon to use with something like a glaive or maybe a scout? Since it would be support, I guess you could really use it for any build.
Now all we need is a legendary Whisper of the Worm.
Just put the Kraber 50 cal from Apex Legends into Destiny, give it triple tap/precision Instrument, and I will be a very happy Guardian
I got Lost Signal after defeating Ascent on Legendary on Day 2 of the launch. I have almost 4k kills with it already 😂
Martyr's Retribution is coming with Incandescent. Gonna make you completely forget this archetype. Prolly Forbearance, too.
I love this gun. So unique and fun. I wish this one had chill clip. I could have been so nice. I love stack this with Dragon's breath. It does amazing damage.
Also anyone used it in pvp? How does it perform?
So are they going to start buffing exotics to make them actually feel exotic now that they have legendary weapons that do the same thing (bow with voltshot/Trinity)?? One single pool from Witherhoard only lasting 4.5 sec is bulls**t
I got an auto-loading/reverberation roll that carried me through the legend campaign, since it also filled the darkness half of prismatic.
Im still waiting for that solar craftable rocket sidearm ,this thing will go nuts
In the meantime, I use Indebted Kindness with permeability.
High ground is reworked to be similar to rampage + it has original functionality
It feels surprisingly convenient on this weapon for neutral game
Update got a new roll Strategist/Demo and my god, "I am the Prince of all Sayian's once again"
soooo i made a titan stasis build using this and salvations grip
and i can bassicly freeze everything and cause them to explode while also making diamond lance WHILE ALSO being tanky
I just hate this gun, I don’t have a good reason but I think it just feels terrible. It looks so cool but I’d 10000% rather just use witherhoard. Either way I’d have to take off khovostov.
oh yeah also is the boots mod for autolading broken on breech GLs? on this thing, dead messenger, mountain top, and whats my solar buddy uuhh...anyway ill wait out like 10 seconds meaning that boot mod should have loaded the thing 4x over and yet nothing. i think it was something bungo did so autoloading holster as aperk isnt uselss
