China can never do this without worrying about Russia, Japan and India, because of this China have to station large army, navy and airforce forces back home to defend the mainland, they can not project all of their forces across the globe like how the US is able to do. In order for China to have cultural influence worldwide, the world needs to speak and understand Chinese. China is bordering 14 countries, their forces will be spread out thin so will their $200 billion defense budget. China has 2 powerful nations bordering it, Russia and India. Ground forces will be stationed at these borders. China has a massive standing army, the more troops you have, the more riffles and helmets are needed, because of the quantity, it will be costly. Compared to the US smaller number of troops, they get better quality equipment for the same amount of money. China's GDP is large simply because of it's massive population, the US has a smaller population and a higher GDP per capita.

there are some elements of lost opportunity to India, a decade ago when India could benefit from more foreign investment, all those investment went to china, now India want to expand its product to supply Asia nations and yet they find china every where.

Personally I'm Greek and far away but I believe in India and I expect to transform into a great power in the following years surpassing China.

The US have an ideal geography, the Pacific and Atlantic ocean separates the US from most major threats, invasion on the US soil would be suicide as they have to cross vast ocean bodies. US bordering neighbors are friendly and greatly outclassed in terms of military power. The US can project their military might anywhere in the world at full force without worrying about it's mainland being invaded. China can never do this without worrying about Russia, Japan and India, because of this China have to station large army, navy and airforce forces back home to defend the mainland, they can not project all of their forces across the globe like how the US is able to do.
In order for China to have cultural influence worldwide, the world needs to speak and understand Chinese. China is bordering 14 countries, their forces will be spread out thin so will their $200 billion defense budget. China has 2 powerful nations bordering it, Russia and India. Ground forces will be stationed at these borders.
China has a massive standing army, the more troops you have, the more riffles and helmets are needed, because of the quantity, it will be costly. Compared to the US smaller number of troops, they get better quality equipment for the same amount of money.
China's GDP is large simply because of it's massive population, the US has a smaller population and a higher GDP per capita.
