2020 is when I first discovered Game Grumps & I feel kinda bad for being so late to this channel cus I’ll get recommended videos about “The decline of Game Grumps” and how they went from “Why you should unsubscribe to Game Grumps”. Meanwhile I’m sitting here like, “Well clearly their still good if their still bringing in new fans like me”. It just sucks cus they’ve helped push through the most hellish two years of my life & I hate see them get so much hatred. 🥺
As Dan said in their God of War playthrough "according to some people, game grumps has been going downhill since before it started." it's pretty much been a constant thing for people to shit on them as if the channel is failing while they are still cranking out great moments with each episode. And these haters will also be some of the same people who never miss an episode. So you have to take the comments with a heaping helping of salt.

That's the nature of UA-cam; if something is successful and popular, there will be channels with video essays and "unbiased criticism" on why the popular thing is bad. Why? For views? Controversial appeal? Jealousy? Who knows, but it's inevitable either way...

As a grump viewer from the early Mario party Arin and Jon days, I still know people who just has not even accepted dan as the not so grump despite almost a DECADE of him doing the job 😂 they get loads of disrespect but us lovelies is what keeps them going so it's a waste to worry about the hateful people
