That Spanish translation is pretty good. Not perfect, but more than good enough. You can trust it when you really need it. Native Spanish speaker here.
I can't say I agree with your color and brightness comparison. The S24 image looks a lot brighter and sharper than the S23. Anyway, I really regret purchasing the iPhone 14 Pro Max. It is 2 months old and the battery is already at 99%. Also, it doesn't last me all day. I'm really disappointed. I'm ready to change to Samsung again, bye-bye Apple!
Yeah that front-facing camera test was pretty tough. I think I like the s23 better because it's flatter and it gives you more room for post-editing, and I like the more cinematic look on it verses the HD look on the s24 tbh.
I've had my S24 plus since my B-day on 1-26 and I must say I am really enjoying it so far. Thanks for the video about the screen I would say it's washed out but it's definitely not as vibrant as the older devices. But it's still pretty good. It seems like quite a few people are noticing and having a issue with the screen. I really think Samsung roll out a update and address this issue. Thanks for the video I really enjoying watching your content. Keep up the good work 👏
I just got my S24 Ultra violet. But my second choice is actually the S24 regular. I find the 6.1/6.2 inches to be the sweet spot. Feels so good in the hands and even on one hand use.
If you look online it seems that the software has some issues with the display which is why it appears dimmer than the S23. It should be fixed with a software update like the camera issues as well
@@DayoAworunse Also, apparently there is a bug with the display colour profile option. Usually in display settings there is "Vibrant" and "Natural", and by default "Vibrant" is what is chosen. But due to a software glitch, both vibrant and natural are the same, as in, the vibrant option still keeps the colours from the natural profile.
NEVER buy anything on a promise that something will be fixed with an update. Magical software update that fixes all of phone's hardware issues? Yeah sure... I heard that countless times over the years. IF such update comes and IF issues are really fixed then great, go ahead and buy the device.
During the front facing test I paused the video around 13:31 and mainly used your left sleeve as a reference as it's a good spot to see shadows. the S23 lacked contrast and the S24 used too much; on the S23 there's that kind of faint white mist which I feel is indicative of overexposed shadows whilst on the S24 the shadows are a bit too dark. I'd personally go for the S24's front camera over the S23's simply because I don't like it when there's less contrast in the footage, but overall I don't feel like either one quite gets it right.
fair point the front facing camera sucks at face detection in anything less than perfect light conditions i was laying in my bed with a lamp on in one corner and couldnt get it to open after 10+ attemps until i angled my face towards the light but when i use the same front camera in the camera app there was enough light to easily make out my face and all its features on the other hand tho.. the anti reflection front glass is something incredible, such a underrated feature that now ive used i simply could not go without sitting out in the sun without having to move your phone to read text on an article is a real game changer and something i never knew i needed
I was thinking the same thing, lol 😆 My S20+ is 4 years old next month! I would pick the S24 over the S23 but will also depend on what price I can get for either one! Did you pick one yet ? 🤔
@@nccapone344 not yet. 1) depends if both have snapdragon. 2) will the next update include ai for S23? 3) if you don't care about ai, then they seem equal, so seems might as well go for S23. Trying to find a compelling reason the S24 is better and worth more money
S24+ is the best phone get. The promotion they had and their trade in program was great. I traded my S23 in for $700 and got the S24+ with 12gb and 512gb for $699. Ultra is too big for me personally.
I would have got the regular s24 or s24 plus if they made it looks like a mini ultra. I’m sick of every phone being an iPhone clone in appearance. A big reason I got the ultra is I like the look better. I’m enjoying it a lot so far. It’s a beast and I’m perfectly happy making my 15 pro max a back up phone or future trade in device for either a fold or the iPhone 16 of they actually make some decent changes.
Great video!!! 🤗📱❤️ My twin son is in the us army and himmand his wife and my 4 year old grandson has been living in Pyeongtaek, Korea on the military base since they moved their in the fall of 2022⁰ they come back here to the states coming this fall. I ordered the S24 Ultra 512GB in yellow!!! 🤗📱❤️
Given the choice, would you choose the s24 over the Oneplus 12? I really despise the OP12s curved screen. Everything else is better, except for the missing barometer
I like your videos 😂! S24 is a middle of the road device. I have s24 u as well, it's a beast but too big for me to carry around everywhere. S24u best beast around. Basic s24 ok but battery life is slightly underwhelming
I planned on switching phone carriers later on in the year, and wasn't sure if to take a deal on the S24 or the upcoming Pixel 9 (since there's leaks suggesting the base model will have a periscope tp lens). But theeen I saw news suggesting that Meta is going to have some way to play Spatial Video on the Quest 3, and if that comes to life I will HAVE to get an iPhone 16 Pro. Just imagine the kinda home videos you can play back with that 👀
This was fun to watch. Youo have a good sense of humor and a light touch, while still hitting on the features and qualities of the phones. I apprecdiated you takes, your first impressions, and your willingness to change your opinion of s23 vs s24 kind of on-the-fly as you had more experience, more data so to speak. I really liked your review of the AI features, you presented quite a few and spent some time on severakm showing what they can do, for example, symmarizing text, and the translation features. That was a reallyi nice presentaton. My s2 4 arrived today, updating from an s22. After some of the initial frustrations of setting up a new phone, I was struck by the difference in speed compared to the s22; it was just faster through tasks or from one task to another, likely representing the g3 snapdragon. This is noteable in that while some AI feattures mayi be updated for the s23, the s24 will have more horsepower to perform those tasks. I also did a side-by-side comparions of the camera, which are pretty similar, but the s24 image was much more accurate in terms of color repreoduction. In my 12 hours of using the s24, I am pleased; the build is great, the speed, an overall sense of an improved phone, and I haven't even gotten to the AI stuff, and hence was thankful for your review of those features. Anyway, thanks for the review, and I am now subscribed and will be looking for any other s24 stuff you might do.
tbh i will upgrade from the s21 plus to the s23 plus and stick with it till the end of support, i was thinking about the upgrades of the s24 plus but cuz of the exynos ama skipp

You know they can be disabled, right? Also, during the first set up, you are prompted to select whatever navigation method you want. I hate those buttons and always disable them when I get a new phone.
I know that, but it is quite perplexing how these super inconvenient buttons are still the standard on Samsung phones. Feels like 2011 again...@@depresseddude12
