@dezertfox4323 - Been listening to UFO and The Scorpions among other bands since I was in the womb. A kid in school tried to get me into 50 Cent... thank god for headphones.
Years ago I thought I had found a bloody great guitar riff. I actually was pretty sure I had stolen it. I Kept asking people if they know where it was from. After a year I decided, it was mine and made an instrumental song that for some strange reason got called "Satan's Pocket Watch". After playing that alive like for a year, I happened to listen to MSG live and this was it....
Yes, that happens. I will never forget that time when I worked on a series of chords for like 2 hours, creating an amazing riff for a ballad... And it was Cemetery Gates, by Pantera :S:S And it happened to me 3 or 4 times already...
Yeah songs can stick in your mind without you really realising it, that's why i don't get all the "stolen riff drama". If you made another good songwith a similar riff who cares
This is actually a very rare cover. See Schenker's fingers. On most of other covers,he FISTED but on this one,he opened them. Nurse on the back, she was appeared most but on others, she was half-appeared. As much as I know, this one was from the first US CD version.
I hope it was the Strangers version ? I brought Led Zeppelin II to music class in 78, 8th. teach encouraged anyone who wanted to,to bring in what ever they listen to.He pretty much went right to that album & demonstrated how heavy something like Whole lotta love was & then at the same time 3 songs over there was a "pre termed " power ballad such as Thank you, pointing out Zeps versatility, someone else brought in Queen News of the world, new at the time & played we will rock you.All I remember ?
The production and mix on the album is natural and dry, it sounds a bit like Let There Be Rock by AC/DC with it's growling guitar sounds and boxy drums, that's something you don't get anymore. Michael played a lot more from his own blues-rock influences at the start of his solo career, he sounded fantastic, but then became even better as his own natural style became more evident, with the endlessly fluid, melodic runs and interesting note selections, my favourite stuff being on Assault Attack.
Nearly 40 years old, still sounding as good as it did when I first heard it 40 years ago, brilliant!!!!!
CLASSIC........Learned to play all of this as an 18 yr old in the 1980s.....Timeless CLASSIC Michael Schenker.
Dramatic driving Heavyrock Instrumental - Must Higher Point In Michael Shenker Carrer!!!!!!!!!🤘🤘🤘🎸🎸🎸
"Into the Arena" la mejor canción instrumental que oí en los '80 junto a "Transylvania" de Iron maiden.
APPELANT LE BON ALBUM MERCI SCHENKER
This infinitely beautiful instrumental will one day be played during my funeral.
Best Instrumental of all times, And that's that. Period...... axefler UFO, MSG. 4 EVER. Axeflyer MD
If it wasn't for the godfather of R&R Joe
Anthony,I never would have discovered
MSG back in the 80's here in San Antonio!
Jman
It was the theme song of an Italian radio show about metal. When I listened to it, I knew I'd have a very good time.
Fantastic instrumental!!! 🤘
Simon Phillips on drums, and Mo Foster on bass and I believe Don Airey on keyboards
Always thought it was Paul Raymond on the keyboard
Fantastic!
I've had this on vinyl for around 45 years. Still smokin'!
3:29..the solo, never get tired of it
Helloween ripped it off haha
@David Topchiev Now it´s more than 40 years! Still You´re absolutely right! ;)

Good moooorning, yeeehaaawwww, my fav song, when I Drive my car
This whole song is epic, but you know I have to listen from 2:56 to the end afterwards like 5-20 times each time I listen ^_^ Rock on!
Right on man. My song of choice in class was "Metal Messiah" by Judas Priest. I had Painkiller on tape thanks to my mom.
Easy to picture gladiators entering an arena etc, dynamic drumming aye.
I don't know about Mr. Schenker very much. But this instrumental is famous in Japan. It reminds me of Vivaldi a little. Very unique&well-done!!
Long live schenker...
The very specific way of drumming of Cozy Powell is really extremely efficient here. Great job of all the instrumentalists !
Sorry but unfortunately the drummer on this song was Simon Phillips not Cozy Powell
@@johnevans8553 yeah. But anyways, Simon is killer
@Joaquin Lezcano I agree, both of them were awesome
この曲でメタルキッズになりました。正しく神だった
Classic rock that rocks!!!! This is Rock n Roll!!!!! Have another ciggarette and making BBQs!!!! CRANK IT UP!!!!!!!
True LEGEND!!
The woman on the album cover is Michaels managers girlfriend. The guy on the back of the album cover in a white coat, is Gary Barden
Very good! From Varginha, MG (ET Land) - Brazil
amazing...
Found this vinyl in the dollar bin, almost punched an innocent bystander out of sheer joy. Rep if Black Heaven brought you here.
Iron Maiden - Losfer Words (Big 'Orra)
Can hear so much of Accept's Teutonic Terror in this... Absolutely awesome instrumental none the less!
Andy Scarlett Well...Teutonic Terror came out 20 years later...:)
That is true!
Andy Scarlett ,,
Accept guitarist is completely Schenker influenced
awesome brother
EPIC FOR ALL TIME
Michael schenker FTW!

🇬🇧
人間椅子の走れメロスの元ネタらしいがかっこいいな
dang Michael got good after he left UFO
教科書に載せても良いかとおもいます。

I hate this mix
I agree, the mix is horrible. This track deserves a good remaster
It sucks.
