    If the girl thought her dad was fighting with her brother at first, then the dad was the one doing the yelling. And he was in a car wreck 8 days prior to this. They hadnt been together for years, how would she know? The ME had to research how to make this a homicide, that should terrify anyone living there

  • @sunnydrop4100
    @sunnydrop4100 4 дні тому +4

    I am outraged this case made it anywhere near a court room. The clips you show are missing very important points. The daughter heard screaming, and thought her Dad was yelling at her brother.. Meaning this point alone the Dad was the louder aggressor, the daughter is heard on the 911 telling her Dad to stop. The defense had already shown in court he had no known major heart issue known before he died. How did we get here? This is ridiculous and unjust.

    So he knew she was going to be mad when she got the papers that she had to move. So should we actually blame him for dying now? He knew it would be an altercation whether verbal or more...If we're going by these new rules?

    I’m not sure who the prosecutors are, but it seems like you are taking the law to an extreme. This is one reason why the law can be used as a weapon and a means of advancing in the police department and the lawyers. Nobody will win here even if she goes to jail. This is a made up case

    It's distressing that after 6yrs this Mom feels entitled to march into the Ex's home where their two children live. Children should feel safe in their dwelling & not witness a parent abusing another without regard of the individuals living there. DV against a man should not be excused away. They should get the same attention as women expect.

    how long were they married? long enough for her to know about his condition. yelling is one thing, but refusing to leave, slapping, and pushing someone makes it assault. if you assault someone with a heart condition…its manslaughter if they die. this doesn’t seem like a stretch to me. She could have yelled at him and left when he asked her to, and she wouldn’t be in this position. He didn’t trip in his home, he didn’t go running on a treadmill, he wasn’t driving, he was assaulted. If this were a random man pushing and slapping him and refusing to leave this wouldn’t be a conversation.

    I have a son with arrhythmia issues and has had a defibrillator implanted since the age of 13. Anything can cause an arrhythmia, let’s be honest. Not just an argument. My son’s Dr told me one time his alarm clock could set him off. Even if she played basketball with her husband he could’ve gone into cardiac arrest. Would they then have charged her with manslaughter?

      It is a bench trial. With this judge, I would be scared if I were Penny. There's no way they could have convinced a jury she was guilty because people get into arguments with their spouses or ex-spouses all the time. No one expects a death to occur over an argument. People with dementia are known to become combative, so I don't doubt he got physical with her either. The daughter hates her mother and has since before his death. Her story "evolved" on the stand. This has to be the most ridiculous case I've ever heard of. Massachusetts is a scary place to live. I would never put my life in the hands of this judge. She's awful. I hope she is fair for once.
