I just want to comment on a few things in regards to the money Conor was supposed to donate to Dustin's charity. Conor offered to donate to his charity in order to entice him to take a fight with him. This was back when they both were butting heads a bit with the UFC in regards to money and getting a high level opponent for Conor. The climate was very different when the offer was made, he proposed to put it on himself as a exhibition etc. It was a business tactic to try to try to bring UFC and Dana to the table. The 500K was to entice Dustin to take the fight, sweeten the idea. And guess what, shortly after they all came to terms and everything changed. The UFC and Conor were banking on grabbing the #1 spot, bc they wanted him to reclaim the title because of $$$. But that didn't happen, we all know what happened now. Fast forward... No stipulations were given as to giving the money or how it should be used/spent. There never was anything about needing a proposal and all that. Leading up to the fight, it was NP getting in contact with anyone. Post fight, radio silence. Conor was upset he lost, he didn't want to donate the 500k to the dude who knocked him out, it's not right but a lot of people are that way. Meanwhile Dustin's wife kept trying to get in touch with Conor/team. A couple months of trying to get in contact about the donation and the comments happened online. This was the FIRST time anything was said about a proposal as to where things were going etc. If anyone had bothered to respond during those months that information could have been produced, a plan put in place etc. This embarrassed Conor, aired his dirty laundry publicly, to save face that narrative about the plan was bs manipulation and it worked, everybody was like well yeah...that makes sense. But that's not the story. So Conor threatens this and that, he's already signed a contract and Dustin's new contract is dependent on the fight taking place. Conor could pull out. Dustin apologizes publicly, half genuine half self serving. There's back and forth petty d measuring on the back end. But Conor also NEEDED Dustin bc he wants that win, he wants the "#1" spot. So without ANY business proposal Conor donates the 500k to the boys and girls club, cutting out Dustin's charity etc. it was a petty move. And it was a middle finger to Dustin's wife who had been working on plans to put the money into action. Conor had this information at this point and he did it just to take it away from Dustin's wife. Obviously that is pretty low but Dustin was aware of what his intention was and he played it perfectly. And he was happy that the money went somewhere in his community, there was nothing now to be gained by making all this public. Also at that point, they didn't want to even take the money bc of the optics and because of the attachment/legal implications to Conor. They were already playing games with them and just trying to mess with Dustin, his wife and team. So yeah if you look back on everything that has happened since then, the DM, the words back and forth. Middle finger from Dustin's wife in the ring etc, it might be more clear what was going on. If someone had offered you money for your charity your wife ran, which makes her happy and gives her purpose trying to do good etc and then does that, all the BS. How would you react? Not only that, but plans and work had been laid on their end and now they have to tell other charities and things, people who invested their time etc, it's not happening now. He made Dustin's wife look bad in front of their community and with the good work she tries to do. Really shines a light on how petty someone can be.

Mike is right about the charity thing. Dustin and his wife were acting really shady about the Donation the whole time. Yeah, let me right you a half million dollar cheque for a for profit gym? If Conor sent sent that money to him it would have made him a sucker. Good on him for sending the e money to a local charity in the same town.
Dustin has the same type of charity as Conor, it’s not as simple as you say either. They offered Conor a range of projects to invest in but he ghosted him after losing. This isn’t well researched. Dustin’s charity has a good financial reputation.
