- The highly anticipated Netflix docu-series, Beckham, sees David and Victoria Beckham open up on the explosive 2003 affair rumours that almost put an end to their marriage for the first time. Victoria described it as the hardest time of her life and that she resented David for it. Despite this, they still remain together and a united front 20 years on from the alleged affair - but can a relationship survive when resentment sets in? And is it possible to recover romance once the trust is broken? Kaye says it’s possible to get the romance back, but only if both people are invested in it. And Judi says there’s lots of ways partners can betray trust other than physically cheating.

He’s never admitted to the affair with Rebecca loos never mind about his others misdemeanours, they just want to paint a picture of perfection, Rebecca Loos has spoke about the affair a few times, maybe she will appear again to cash in on some more revelations
What is left unsaid is understood!
Spot on so many are praising this doc as being honest but they don’t admit to anything. Why didn’t they sue Rebecca loos if all them text messages and allegations were fake ? Also no mention in the doc about his unicef email leaks etc
Here is the thing a marriage is filled with a lot of hard work, I've been married for 10 years and it has been filled with many ups and downs but we have work gosh darn hard to keep what we have between us, the beckhams have that, they've worked really hard and been through so so much but they've come out the other side.
Don't understand why they are bringing it up again... We all knew he had a affair/affairs as he did not sue Rebecca loos.
He just released a new doc of course it would be in there
Grooming someone into Hollywood by selling this: “real love can get through cheating, see?” Nope. If there’s cheating? There’s no real love.
My sister-in-law got so annoyed that her husband kept tossing his dirty clothes onto the floor instead of into the hamper. She started nailing his clothes to the floor, and he quickly learned to place them into the hamper. I thought her method was pretty hard core, but he got the message pretty quickly!

Judy said it well-once trust is broken which is the case for D & V, they are staying together for money, assets etc- I could never sleep or stay with a man I did not trust anymore even if we had a dozens of kids together- I would feel physically sick .

It would make no sense. It was an important part of their lives so they addressed it in the doc but that was enough, no need to say anything else

How Victoria has been so supportive is amazing, the whole family is really supportive and good people. Credit to all of them for coming through 💩. Brilliantly done & candid. Watch the whole 4 episodes.
No matter what happened at that time their marriage is still going strong. A marriage is whatever goes on behind closed doors and you either make a choice to work through it and get to the other side or you don't and it isn't working for you both. I've been married 30yrs and although we haven't had to deal with cheating, we have definitely gone through a breakdown in communication and feeling like we aren't really friends anymore in our younger years. Now we are strong, in love and each other's best friend. Could that change again.....of course. Life is ever changing. But we take every year as it comes and try to draw strength from what we have now even when it's tough.
I feel sure there was an affair .. She just didn't want to sever the brand that is Beckham

I'm sorry, but I don't get taken into this documentary. Those that were around in the late 90s and 00s know exactly what the circus was about and Sir Alex is spot on, on fame changing David. In 2004, NOTW broke the story about the affair and RL even mentioned some a Tattoo on DB that only VB would know about.

If David was unfaithful, he certainly did wrong. But that is a matter between him and his wife. If you are intimate with someone, knowing they are in a relationship, you also did wrong. But it's really not as black and white as all that. The biggest issue of all imo is when someone takes a personal, private matter and makes it public. Hurting a great many more people in the process. Utterly shameful.

I feel some of their discussion is about my friendship we always have the exact same issue within our friendship.
I once met someone whose partner worked closely with Beckham during and after his football career. I was told that it was 100% common knowledge within the industry that David had "allegedly" many affairs during his marriage, no matter how much he or Victoria deny that they happened.
This is obvious. She wouldn’t have been so unhappy and resentful of him if he didn’t actually cheat; and it was just a baseless story.

I would think he is the one who missed out a lot in terms of family and his children. He was lonely while she had the kids company and family around her. I feel for him too because being a footballer and going a country to another is not easy.
He used that excuse to cheat! David cheated because Victoria wasn’t around to keep tabs on him and he took advantage of the opportunity! He could cheat in peace in Spain vs the UK where he would’ve been outed much sooner. David thought he would be undercover in Spain and no one would find out . He thought wrong!
