- It is time for us to explore Downtown San Jose, Occidental Mindoro, Philippines from a 2.5 hr. boat ride from Batangas to Abra de Ilog to the almost 6 hour bus ride we are here at the biggest town of Occidental Mindoro - San Jose! I am delighted to explore and see the town of my 62nd province (20 more to go). Enjoy this walking tour!

Nice to see the town of San Jose again after a long time. Last visit ko ay 1990 or 1991.
namiz ko to Occidental Mindoro...ang San Jose lalo po ang barangay ko na Caminawit sa purok ng Maligaya, namimiz ko ang simoy kung saan ako nanggaling at namulat, Salamat po dito...babalik balikan ko siya basta....yun lang❤️!

Hey, thanks for promoting our town! I just hope you've explore it more from its mountains (like the Devil's Mountain, Suso ng Dalaga, and Bato-Ili) up to the islands of Ilin (where you can find the endemic Philippine Teak, etc.) and Ambulong. Anyway, its mostly known for the Mangyan community and as the second landing site of General Douglas MacArthur.
Hi Philip, I will definitely get back and explore more as this time I was on a tight budget and limited time. It was not on the initial plan for this trip but circumstances brought me to this lovely town (should be a city na sana). Thanks for watching and sharing those information. This is all noted.

at first akala ko nga City na ang San Jose hindi pa pala. But there were bills passed na for its cityhood because I think qualified na to become a city.

You keep on tagging Oriental Mindoro State College but you are forgetting you are in Occidental Mindoro and not Oriental Mindoro. I have stayed in this town during the martial law days and I am quite familiar with the place.
