If I did not draw the tree the way she wanted, I did not get feedback. No worries! I use turpentine and a little bit of black paint, to make a wash. I also like to use charcoals because they dissolve in the paint and I prefer drawing before an underpainting!

Yeah, ugly insects are the worst. I drew a roach for goretober on its back. That was gross enough.
Ahhh I never understood how people can draw roaches. They scare me so much I could never look at them for that long!
