I think bang smoke is a buff.
It is. Now bangs can literally ape you the whole game catching you out guard. It is literally one of the best combat buffs there has ever been in this game

It’s not a buff because bang was used mostly to rotate and revive with the smoke but now u can’t really do either of the two if someone pushes u because they can easily see u

whats wild to me is i started apex roughly 3 years ago. The havoc since i started playing the game back when r301 wasn't nerfed was the exact same gun it is now. The only buff it ever got was turbo charger doesn't give -1 dmg. It took everyone 3 full years to realize just how busted it was. Once everyone woke up to it 4 full bullets per mag seems like not even close to enough XD. When most guns lose just 2 bullets 3 and its just done. Ive been saying forever havoc is beyond broken it has like almost 100 dps over the next gun in the assault rifle catagory on dps tests.
Everyone knew it was good. It’s the fact that all the other guns have been nerfed so much there’s no point in running them. Smgs for example.

You can still use them for rotates it just makes fighting in smoke a less RNG since half the time it’s a one way smoke and one person can see clearly and the other person can’t

My thoughts on why they did what they did to the smokes is because they dont want people fighting IN the smoke all the time. My guess its also a nerf to improve the viewer experience for pro play. No lie the game is super boring to watch when all you see is a grey screen like 70% of every match. Smokes now break LOS but are not great for using to fight in.
I actually love how Timmy said go back the good fun meta during Year 1 and split 1 in year 2
Apex devs just nerf whatever meta is going on and take 0 accountability for the insane amount of hours all the pros together have spent perfecting the meta. Absolutely unacceptable. They should at least pay people out for their lack of awareness and responsibility for NO testing with those pros it affects the most and actually see where the meta should shift. Time is money and the pros are the puppets and victims of EAs dumbassery
Nah what’s crazy is that all of these pros complain about bloodhound being OP but in reality they are just over using bloodhound. Therefore other pros complain and they nerf the legend to the ground. This game isn’t just for the comp scene. It’s for everyone not just to fit only a small percentage of the player base
They need to move away from this smoke/wall bullshit and go back to digi R9 meta

Oh thank god respawn the amount of times I pray to get a gold cache has just dwindled more because a purple light mag in care package 💀. Then there’s r99 bring a new reactive skin just to nerf it and then just buff the one most useless dam thing it doesn’t need a buff to. God these devs are so outta touch .

World's edge is legit fuckin terrible. It's buggy AF and has terrible fps issues. At least on broken moon my fps is 300. Not bouncing around from 130-250. World's edge is terrible.

Bang only got buffs in this patch idk what you’re on about. She doesn’t have to deal with bloodhound killing her out of smoke anymore and no other scan character can stand even close to bloodhound right now so smokes are just MORE oppressive

Bang might actually still be in play now with blood hound 100% out due to scans. Will have to wait and see how highlighting goes in smoke. But she still has potential. I see Seer and horizon in play and likely catalyst.
They need to just fet rid of bang all together honestly and stoo ruining everything else just to cater to that stupid crutch spam character

No. The enemy would have to be in your smoke as well , AND be within 20m of you, to receive the highlight
Day 1 bang since 2019.
You essentially can't smoke in a close range fight to get away. Which is what many use bang for when they are about to lose. So playstyle wise, its a major change for many. Her smoke will still be good for smoke cover on res, rotations, blocking playet visibility and so forth. Also smoking and fighting in smoke will still be a thing. The only difference now is its a fair match for those inside.
With this change, hopefully they go back to increasing her smoke time or decrease cooldown on tac. Too many danm changes to her smoke launcher.

Why doesn't anyone realize Digital Threat will still help you find enemies when you look around, just like Bloodhound's ultimate, even without smoke?
Because that is not the reason why Bloodhound was picked in Pro-Play.
Even in High ranked (High-Dia to Pred) the main reason was to see through smokes and run faster + fast Scans.
Every of these mf sees nerf on a short range scale. Nobody remember what the game was before like 15 seasons ago. Now game is a total sponges shoter simulator which is favoring rollers. A few seasons later it will take up to 4 seaconds to kill a guy. People shall realize havoc is still good untill respawn shall nerf it to the ground and then everybody's going to be using flatline which eventually it also going to be nerfed. Players shall find something else and so on. This game is done.
Apex TTK has steadily gotten faster since launch WTF are you in about? Real fans loved the game because of the movement and DPB making it so that overall TTK favored the better player to win most fights rather than typical CoD like flinch shooting being all that matters. If they make TTK higher real enjoyers of apex will rejoice.
@@BExAxKING Ur take is false from beginning, TTK was way faster before. No red armors. DPB was higher on speedfire, r301, car, volt, r99,hamlock, and so on. U can ckeck this info by watching old videos with stats. Do not be brainded If they DONT then eventually last mnks shall leave the game and rollers sooner or later will be tired play against each other's aimbot

@@chieff6570the white outline seems to be only people within the smoke and within 20 feet or what ever. From what i understand the change is made to make bang smokes good at breaking los but not great at using it to fight in the smoke. Since the meta is smoke the enemy or yourself and release your bloodhound player to just blast people within the smoke.

@@chieff6570 it really changes nothing, in fact it turns every character into a psudo bloodhound since everyone will be able to see eachother if they are in the smoke which as it is now, people will either smoke themselves or the enemy and release their hound player with ulti to shoot up the people who cant really see the hound player and kill em. This change imo will make bang stronger and weaker, you can fairly freely be pushed and cant really use bang smoke as defensively as before while also being able to use it aggressively to push a team and fight them within the smoke. On paper imo it seems like a healthy change, only time will tell.
